Fine Dining Made Easy
The last book on CD my wife and I bought was terrible: mens' voices for female characters, etc. And what's the alternative on the radio? Pop music or Howard Stern? I spend twenty percent of my waking life in my car. I might as well spend it wisely. The Food Scholar is easy listening and presented in a way that makes the information easy to learn and remember.

great starting point...
Prepare to Board! Creating Story and Characters for Animated Features and Shorts - does what it says. This book will help you create a story and the characters within. I've read other books on storyboarding, but this book should be the one to start with. Then move on to Ron Bluth's - Art of Storyboard & Wendy Tumminello's - Exploring Storyboarding

I don't usually buy cookbooks but...
I haven't bought a cookbook in three years because most just don't have enough good recipes. I first borrowed it from the library and then had to have my own copy! My family (six people that includes three picky toddlers) have tried ten of these recipes and all of them were winners! Although they need some tweaking to suit my family's particular taste they are all awesome. Two great things ...

I took the AP back in 2002/2003 and my AP psych teacher wasn't up to par. This book is fairly thin but don't be fooled. I read this book from cover to cover and came out with a 5 on the AP. My friend went into the AP with what the teacher taught (nothing) and came out with a 2.

Fabulous!
In all my years as an Amazon shopper, this is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review. This is a great book. I have cooked numerous recipes and have been very impressed by all of them. In fact, she has a recipe for a meatloaf pinwheel that is the first meatloaf that I have ever liked. (There is a layer of kale and spinach that is rolled up with the meat. Delicious!) The ...

There's only one way you can "Pass" on this one...
And that's by getting it and studying the questions. Most of the questions come right out of the boards. I easily passed my I.M. Boards using this along with Frontrunners Syllabus (it's a companion thing). The AudioVisual CDs helped with all the images. So, a solid curriculum. Best one I've seen. An easy 5 stars, but a must for the ABIM exam.

Currently Im a PO3 in the Navy who will be attending the Naval Academy Preparatory School this year with subsequent attendance to the Naval Academy proper. While this book only had a rather small mention of how enlisted applicants gained admission, and an even smaller section on NAPS, its still THE BEST resource out there for an aspiring applicant. After all its not the NAPS or Prior candidate ...

Time to Restock the Bar
As someone whose home bar currently comprises nothing more than gin, vodka, and a pathetic collection of triple sec, Rose's Lime Juice and Virgin Islands rum (a gift from vacationing parents), I skipped the recipes at first and went straight to the section of the book called ''Behind Bars: An Insider's Look at Ordering Out.'' Here was a list of useful tips for bar- and restaurantgoers. Among ...

This simple guide is exactly that, the bare bones basics for those who don't want to wade through hundreds of pages. You can get more than three times the information for only twice the price in a book like Dan Poynter's The Self-Publishing Manual, but more is not always best for everyone. If you are the type of person who wants "Just the facts" this book could be your ideal introduction to ...

Every Christian should read this book!
If you are hungry for a deeper walk with God you MUST read this book. The author describes in the first chapter a manifestation of the Holy Spirit that changed his life. He proceeds to exhort the reader to pursue this "FIRE" in their own lives and gives a wealth of material to help you get there. The key is that we serve a holy God that requires for us to also be holy, but holiness is not a ...

What a gold mine! In the preface of the book the author states, "The author feels that many of the insights were given him by the personal ministry of the Holy Spirit through the Word." ...to this I could not agree more. Outside of the Bible, this was one of the most enlightening books (if not the most) I have ever read concerning SO MANY vital aspects of a Christian's walk with God. In a nutshell, the author ...
