I bought this book when my son was almost 4. --- 9 months later he is reading on a 1st/ 2nd grade level! This book was so simple to use and understand. Lessons are short(20 min. ). Great Book
I have long been a unit studies fan. Valerie's book has been helpful but it has been the most helpful in teaching language arts as it pertains to unit studies and the importance of reading and how to bring it into our chldren's lives naturally. For the Love of reading was my favorite section of the book.
