A Great Book!
This was one of the best books that I have read in a very long time! I wanted to read it before seeing the movie and now I can't wait to see it! I couldn't put the book down once I started it. The plot was so intriging and each page makes you want to move to the next to see what was going to happen! The storyline interweaves itself so well and is fascinating and complex in the aspect of how ...

Pretty Good Adaptation
This book is a pretty good adaptation of the screenplay by Scott Koslar. Stephen Hand doesn't copy the movie on the screen, but the movie the way the screenplay was orginally written. Overall I think it is a great book and adaptation of the movie.

Awesome Book - A MUST read for all Kruger fans
As a huge fan of Elm Street from the old days I was really looking forward to reading this book, and I can tell you that I was NOT disappointed. It's awesome and a fantastic read. One I couldn't put down until the end... I personally thought the author had a definate handle on Kruger. This book would make an fantastic sequel if ever made into a movie... I am really disappointed at the ...

Looks CAN Kill!
Other books in this series have left me extremely disappointed, so I was rather plesantly surprised when I got to the end of this book and found I was extremely hooked to the story and found the plot actually not half-bad. Very simply put, this is the high-stakes world of fashion, media and limelight, where looks are everything and 'friends' are not as they seem. Backstabbing happens so often ...

Final Destination 3 The Book
I loved the movie, and I started obsessing over it and when I found out there was a book I just had to get it. So I did, and I was extremely happy with it. It described the characters very well, and the words and how Christa Faust worded everything was just amazing. I read little sections of the book all the time, just like I watch the movie all the time. Very good book overall. If you loved the ...

Dream Child
Since reading Protege, which I thought was the best Nightmare novel yet, I had high expectations for this one. I absolutely love this novel. It is well written and has a nice slow pace so you won't get lost or bored. If this was made into a movie it would go great between Nightmare 5 and Freddy's Dead. The story has to deal with Jacob (from the Nightmare 5 - The Dream Child movie) and ...

This was great !!!!!!!!!!!
This book was fast paced and aweasome. The deaths wern't the best but the characters r aweasome. The jerk off Eric reminded me of the guy Carter in the first movie. But I do have to say the club seen when it collapsed was the best.If u like fd then u should give this book a read.

Loads better than the last one.......
This is prob. the best one in the series so far, having not read Dead Man's Hand and Look's can kill, anyways, a reporter, Patty, saves a couple of people from a terrist bomb on the subway, they all start to die, she does research on other events, and finds out that her great great grandmother had a similar vision in Victorian Jack the Ripper times......... It's a race against time to see if she ...

Ear Deafing Finale!
I just got back from watching Blade Trinity, and all I can say is I'm half- deaf, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. The action in this film is indeed jam- packed and leaves you breathless. Blade is once more the powerful, cocky emotionless statue he has always been with a few quirky bandmates now, the leader of this band called Night Stalkers a woman named Abby, whom is the actual daughter ...

Taking the Law outside of the Big-Meg
After enjoying Bad Moon Rising, I decided to pick up a few of these novels. This adventure is an exciting romp across the Black Atlantic, exploring new territory that has barely been touched upon in the 2000AD comics. Dredd came across perfectly this time, in his gruff, no-nonsense manner. The story fit well with the lore of Judge Dredd and the characters were distinct and consistent. This ...

War is hell, filled with demons
This is going to be a long review, three books to review. Now, war and horror mixes are rare in horror prose, and Black Flame aims to remedy this with this omnibus of these three really weird war novels. In "Operation Vampire" we are introduced to the Vollmer brothers, each one of them representing three arms of the German military. Youngest and most idealistic, ex-Hitlerjurgen Hans is a ...

A tasty slab of biopunk
If you like Philip K. Dick, William Gibson, Rudy Rucker, Vernor Vinge, Neal Stephenson and/or Paul Di Filippo, then this is a must-read. Hard boiled and well done. 14 alarms, but it sneaks up on you. Grandmother Spider, meet Sherkaner Underhill and Vicky Smith. Mia Sangre, meet Molly Millions and Ellen Ripley. Dr. Wan, meet Thomas Nau and Eldon Tyrell. Ratcatcher MacKay, meet Max Rockatansky and ...

Ok, but the author has issues...
The author obviously knows the Dredd universe well, and has written other books in the series which are good. This one however almost reads like an edition of ClassWar at times, various references to the Royal Family being inbred parasites, and bosses being evil exploiters of the masses leave us in no doubt as to his own political leanings, which is kind of a shame when it intrudes into the ...
Rogue Trooper #2: Blood Relative

Super Reader
Rogue is sometimes scary, sometimes sympathetic, and one of those tragic heroic figures. His ultimate adversary in this book, is basically batguano crazy, and she is obsessed with becoming like him, using some Frankenstein like methods from the parts of fallen comrades for research. That sort of thing never works.

Better than the first
The first novelisation of the films was quite a good book, but this one was quicker to read, and more graphic and gory! There's also a slightly different storyline to how Alex died compared to the first movie - I haven't seen the first or second in a while, but according to this book, he was hit in the face by a brick, which instantly killed him. But I honestly can't remember. The book is ...

Like the movies? Then you will enjoy this book.
Putting it to you simply, if you enjoyed the movies then you will enjoy reading this book. Freddy is evil as ever, and also enjoys dishing out his sick humor to his victims. This book actually contains 3 different stories. 1. Suffer the Children 2. Dreamspawn and 3. Protoge. Be warned though. Just like the movies there are plenty of gory violence, cursing, and of course lots of sex. On a ...

Brilliant telling of the game story!
A wonderful action-packed reworking of the story from the game Judge Dredd:Dredd vs. Death. Mr Rennie captures the crazy atmosphere of Mega City One and Judge Dredd with skill and enthusiasm. A rollercoaster of an action book with enough crazy moments to make it stand out from the crowd. A great tie-in to a great game.

Closest thing to Friday franchise in series!!!
This book is by far the best in the series from Black Flame...whereas all the books had their moments where Jason shone brightly...none moreso than this one! This book starts, moves and finishes??:)) in Crystal Lake, where the movie's series elements all come into play. Stephen has captured in the most distrurbing way, the relationship between Jason and his mother....probably one of the closest ...
