Voltron Complete Omnibus1 review
Dan Jolley, Marie Croall, ...

Devil's Due Publishing, 2008

Excellent nostalga trip, and it leaves me wanting MORE!
This book is amazing on all accounts. It collects the Voltron 4 issue mini-series, as well as the 12 issues in the ongoing series that followed (issue 12 is available in this book for the first time ever). I bought this book site unseen just wanting to get my hands on some cool Voltron stuff and wow was I impressed! I didn't necessarily need them to re-tell the whole origin story again, but it ...

Josh Blaylock, Tim Seeley, ...

Devil's Due Publishing, 2008

ANOTHER AWSOME TRANSFORMERS STORY
For the adult transformer comic book collector, this is an item to have. The story is really interesting and it has nice twists to it. Im not going to be a spoiler, so you better purchase it. The book has a really neat hard cover so the comic pages are very well protected.

Forgotten Realms Volume 6: The Halfling's Gem (Forgotten Realms Graphic Novels)2 reviews
R. A. Salvatore, Andrew Dabb, ...

Devil's Due Publishing, 2008

Feels like someone was listening.
I had written a pretty negative review of the last book, Streams of Silver, so I felt obligated to come back with a review of this next book, the Halfling's Gem. Halfing's Gem is a triumph, as far as I'm concerned. The art quality and writing are on par with the Dark Elf Trilogy, which I thought was paramount. I am very very satisfied with this comic. It's almost like someone read the ...

Great artwork!
I'm a fan of all of Bob's books and the fact that they are illustrating them all now is even cooler. I hope they continue to publish them all!

Xombie Volume 1: Reanimated (Xombie)2 reviews
James Farr, Nate Lovett

Devil's Due Publishing, 2008

Objects in the mirror may be dead. And chasing you
I just recently read Xombie: Dead on Arrival, which is the prequel to this animated continuation of the story of Dirge, Nephthys, and Zoe. The first book is a written story with drawings to go along with it while this is a full blown graphic novel. I was not aware of its existence as a web based saga but am glad I found it here on Amazon. Zoe, the little girl who Dirge and Neph saved from ...

Dragonlance - Chronicles Volume 3: Dragons Of Spring Dawning Part 1 (Dragonlance Chronicles)1 review
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman, ...

Devil's Due Publishing, 2008

I love this series!
What's to say? I LOVE THIS SERIES. I loved the Dragonlance Chronicles when they first came out (I bought my copy of Dragons of Autumn Twilight in 1984). I still judge all Dungeons & Dragons novels (and others of its genre, game-related fantasy) by this series. This is a faithful adaptation with excellent artwork. My only criticism is a relatively small one, and not about the book itself: ...

Hack / Slash Volume 3: Friday the 31st (Hack/Slash)3 reviews
Tim Seeley, Emily Stone, ...

Devil's Due Publishing, 2007

One of the best graphic novels available!
As a comic reader for over thirty years, it takes quite a bit to impress me now. However, Hack/Slash has become my favorite comic title over the last two years. It has excellent writing, beautiful art, real characters who become deeper and deeper as the series progresses, an absolutely wicked sense of humor, and storylines that treat readers to much more than 99% of the comics and so-called ...

Devil's Due Publishing, 2006

Sojourn - perfect!
Credit where credit is due - this comic book version of the legendary Drizzt novels is outstanding. The detail and perfect capture of the key elements of the novel made this version as exciting a read as the first time I read the novels. I would highly recommend the comic book version to all dedicated Drizzt fans.

Dragonlance - Chronicles Volume 1: Dragons Of Autumn Twilight (Dragonlance Chronicles)5 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman, ...

Devil's Due Publishing, 2006

Crazy Awesome!!!
In the comic book world it is mostly superpowered characters in tights fighting the forces of evil, but now DDP gives us a breath of fresh air with Dragonlance Chronicles being adapted to comic book form. I really felt attached to the characters, and found it hard to put down. If you like fantasy, you'll like this book.

Classic Salvatore
From Seth Kerin, author of The Elder Worlds: Book One As a long time fan of Salvatore's - I have a copy of The Crystal Shard from when his name was quite tiny on the cover - I have to review this book which is a compilation of three of my favorites: Homeland, Exile and Sojourn.
