Do yourself a favor - listen to the audiobook
If ever there was a book made for the audiobook format it is this one. It is read by the author, so you get a real sense of how it sounded in his head as he was writing it. There is such a large cast of characters and he does a wonderful job of giving each their own distinctive 'voice'. With most audiobooks (and I am completely addicted to audiobooks) I am pretty neutral about the reader ...

Great Read!
My 8 year old has been pestering me to read this since we have a rule which states she can not read certain books until I've read them first. I know she would love this book! I always have always loved Greek Mythology so with that as the main theme I was hooked. The lightning Thief takes you on an extraordinary journey into the world of Greek myth's with suspenseful scenes as Percy searches to ...

artemis fowl too good
Once I started it, I couldn't stop. My favorite type of book contains plenty of action, mystery and sometimes humor, and this book is exactly that. Not only did I like it, I loved it. I longed to get more information from the book. This book is very intriguing and is interesting. I am looking forward to reading the next in the series.

It Really is a Funny Story
It's Kind of a Funny Story is about 15-yr-old New Yorker, Craig Gilner. Craig is highly ambitious, spending his entire middle school career studying to get into an elite high school. Once there, Craig realizes maybe he isn't so smart after all. He has to work twice as hard as his classmates just to get by. All this pressure causes Craig to suffer from depression, preventing him from sleeping or ...

Excellent story for all ages
This was a book that resonated with both myself and my 10 year old son. The themes are relevant to life today, though it is set in a fantasy place at a fantasy time. We both very much enjoyed this work, and I wish there were more works like this in a series or by this author to choose from.

Fantastic and inspiring book
This book is truly fantastic. Jack's struggle to overcome the persecution of classmates and teachers is very deep. The mix of action and solid plot kept me wanting to read more.

I rilly like these books. The part in the third book I like the most is when Marty took Will in the middle of the road and Will follows the line in the new road then his mom sees him in the middle of the road and she chases Will and she catches him and Marty gets in big trouble. Ally Carter's Best Work Yet
I love everything Ally Carter has ever written, but this is by far the best thing she's ever done. It's difficult to keep things interesting when you're this far in a series, but she does it. I couldn't stop turning pages, the ending wasn't predictable, and Cammie Morgan is the perfect hero. If Sidney Bristow went to a school for spies when she was a teenager, Gallagher would have to be ...

I've been trying to find a new series to hold me over until the next Harry Potter book--and I've finally found it. Meet Artemis Fowl the Second, a twelve-year old genius who doesn't want to go to school, is worried about his mother's fragile mental health, is preoccupied with his father coming back from the dead, and who is determined to add to his family's coffers by any means possible. In a ...

Incredible!
The Bartimaeus books are action packed fantasy novels whose main protagonists are a young wizard and his demon servant who he summons at the beginning of the first book to steal a magical amulet. The demon, whose name is Bartimaeus at first is not content with being the servant of a young boy but as the books go on you can see a bond forming between the two. The trilogy is masterfully ...
