Babesiosis Coinfection Changes Lyme Disease Management.(Brief Article): An article from: Family Practice News

Not worth $5.95
Babesiosis coinfection can exacerbate the symptoms of Lyme disease. It is important to diagnose babesiosis because treatments for the two infections are completely different. That's about all I got out of the article. I give it to you for free.

Scar Scares
Warning people that scarring may be a consequence of a natural cancer treatment may seem important, but these risks need to be weighed against similar risks associated with surgery, not to mention the danger posed by cancer. In my book, Cancer Salves: A Botanical Approach to Treatment, I offer a number of suggestions for reducing the potential for scarring, simple measures such as adding ...

In my experience, Nexium is a solid PPI but very, VERY expensive. I would only use it AFTER first trying others like Prilosec OTC and various generics. No reason to go straight to such a pricey drug unless it proves to work for your specific characteristics.

MRSA Treatment that Works
Physicians continue to treat MRSA (MERSA) by introducing antibiotics into the body when in fact the body is allowing MRSA to live due to the overly ACIDIC state of that person's body. Modern 'Medicine' has yet to recognize this concept. Our "biological terrain" is responsible for our overall health. Proper diet, exercise and Emotions all effect our bodies balance. Treatment is available ...

Catastrophic scars may result from natural 'cancer salves'.(Dermatology): An article from: Internal Medicine ...

"Catastrophic"
If I understand you right, a scar is a "catastrophe" whereas cancer itself or surgical treatment of cancer is somehow less "catastrophic"? Does this make sense to you? Anyone who reads my book will discover that there are skillful and reckless ways to use cancer salves, but dismissing something because of scarring seems a bit overzealous. Haven't you seen surgery scars. I haven't read ...
Uncovering a case of Cushing's syndrome. (Clinical Rounds).: An article from: Family Practice News

Excellent
I personally find the article to be excellent. I greatly appreciated the author's interest to write on a topic so poorly publicized. Recent studies show as high as one in five adults may have a pituitary brain tumor but yet, they are truly one of the best kept secrets in medicine today. As you can see by the article I suffered for seven years with Cushing's disease caused by a pituitary tumor ...

Excellent 20 lbs lighter in a month
I was taking xenical for a month and after the first week I lost 4 lbs, of course you will get oily spots and gas if you eat to much fat that's why you have to keep a low fat diet, The price is high about $ 245.00 for a month supply after amonth I was 15 lbs lighter but I couldn't afford it so I switched to Alli and is slower because is only half the dosis but I am doing great 4 lbs lighter with ...
Addressing Pregnancy in Women on ADHD Medication.: An article from: Clinical Psychiatry News

Elizabeth Mechcatie
International Medical News Group, 2001
This article is very "inconclusive."
It says the same thing that doctors tell women who are either trying to get pregnant or are. Results are inconclusive. They say Wellbutrion or buprion is "safe," but they don't know for sure. As for good ole' ritalin or concerta SR, they really can't tell because some of the women tend to abuse it. That's all it says, ladies! What a waste of money!

amazon.com is the problem
The article itself is somewhat informative, but can be found elsewhere via Google for free. amazon.com is the real problem not putting the article in my digital box for days despite multiple complaints and requests. There is no procedure for getting a refund even though amazon claims there is. Nor was a refund request via e-mail honored. As to the content of the article, both pro and con ...

don't spend the money
This article, all $5.95 of it, is only 379 words long. It does NOT include statistical data. It is a news brief about a lecture given by someone else. It doesn't tell you anything you don't already know: eat less, move more, keep at it, monitor yourself, and get support. That is hardly worthy of Amazon.

Short Changed
Enter comment I was under the impression when I purchased this ebook that it was, in fact, a book - or, at least, an indepth article. For $5.95 I certainly expected more than 1 and 3/4 pages of type. This is such important information but I could have easily read it for free at the library. I am very disappointed in the lack of information in this very short article for such a very high ...
Exercises for chronic conditions: lumbar stenosis.(Exercise RX): An article from: Family Practice News

Willibald Nagler

Too Short, Too General
The article is a very light overview without the detail necessary to be useful to a patient. Bottom line: Exercise is good for chronic conditions. You will need other resources, a physical therapist or a trainer to figure out what those exercises should be.

$5.95 for less that two pages of marginally useless information about an intervention that had no clinical effect? Buyer beware. Selling this "brief article" at this price seems unethical to me.

Free download from the actual magazine - why pay for one page?
$5.95 is a lot considering it is only 1 real page long and folks can get access to the skin and allergy magazine for free to read it and many other articles. Save your money!
