Royal Blood (Vampire Kisses, book 6)
I really like the Vampire Kisses series. I enjoy Raven's personality and the trouble that she finds herself in. Can't wait to see what she gets into next!

Positives and Negatives
My thoughts: Positives: * Lots of adventure that keeps you moving from beginning to end * Alchemy, time travel, magic, but always in a believable way. * The enemy of the main character is reminiscent of the Queen of Hearts (one of my favorite villains) * Septimus Heap is likable, intelligent, and generally a very well described character. I always care about what happens to him and his ...

Raven and Alexander can't seem to get a minute alone. No sooner have Alexander's parents returned to Romania (read ROYAL BLOOD) than another visitor has come knocking on the mansion's door. This time, it's Sebastian. Sebastian is Alexander's best friend from Romania. Raven is surprised. Alexander has never talked much about his old home, and now, not only has she just met his parents, she ...

Both Moving and Entertaining
Twelve-year-old Addison Schmeeter's life has had more than its fair share of twists and turns. Her father died when she was barely three. Then Mommers married Dwight, whom Addie loved. The next few years were the closest to normal that Addie ever had. Even though Mommers was still 'all or nothing.' Addie had Dwight and `the Littles' - her two half-sisters, Brynna and Kate, to balance things out. ...

When I got Magyk for my birthday, I didn't think much of it ...
I totally recommend this book if you like magic, dragons, and ... WIZARDS! Silas Heap was walking down a path that led to the Castle when he saw a baby. He took it home and found out it was the queen's. Now it all starts. I think this is a great book because I love magic and adventures. Some parts have more action than others, making those parts better. My favorite part is when they slide down ...

Random thoughts
Why all the negatve reviews? Personally, I didn't see anything wrong with it. But then, I am only 13 and don't really care about all the character development. For me, this is a series I can read when I'm looking for something that's not going to make me either horribly depressed or wanting more action. In another review, someone complained about how no one ever dies, but if I were Angie Sage, I ...

Another good entry in a good series
It has been seven months since all the adults disappeared and all the children under 15 are still struggling with life in the FAYZ. Hunger is an ever present problem, kids are getting drunk and smoking and carrying weapons. Some are trying to set authority with a Town Council; others aren't above violence and destruction to get their way. As Sam and Astrid fight (sometimes with each other) to do ...

Vampire Kisses, what a great series!!!
Great series! I believe this was actually the first vampire series I started reading and have definitely stuck with. Really hope we eventually get to go back to this part, the coffin club, at some point. I loved this book in the series!

Amazing Series!!
I have loved this series since book one. I really like the character of Raven and how she is an outcast but in my eyes she is the popular one, she sticks out to me and is a very cool character. In this book Raven and Alexander get closer and there are a couple of times in the book when I think Alexander is going to turn Raven into a vampire finally, if he does or doesn't I won't say, I don't want ...

Will keep you on the edge of your seat!
Hunger was a terrific second addition to the Gone series. It had all of the same elements, issues and terror of the first book, only intensified to put Hunger in it's own category of horror. Despite how eerily paranormal this series could be considered, Grant does a great job of depicting how real kids would act if it were a real situation. In the end, I think that's what it makes it so ...

Septimus Heap: The Magyal Papers
This is a nice graphic book that goes behind the scenes to let you see a little of the history of the castle and the people and things within it. It is a nice little side event to the series.

Septimus Heap series....wonderful books!
I recently purchased the complete Septimus Heap series (1-5). I may be going through my second childhood, but just as I've enjoyed reading the Harry Potter and Fablehaven series of books, I've enjoyed this series, written by Angie Sage, just as much. Wonderful writing, and although I'm 65 years old, they are very intertaining and interesting books about magkal and non-magkal (when you read the ...

Surprisingly Good
Well, for me this book was a gamble. I randomly bought it in Barns&Noble one day, mostly because I was bored. What happened next I would not have expected. I fell in love with these books. If you love authors such as Dean Koontz and Michael Crichton, then these books are for you. They are books about a dystopia,a normal kinda lazy little town turned upside down when anyone over the age of 14 ...

I've got to say.....
This book was better(MUCH BETTER) than Twilight... The main character, Raven, she actually had a personality(unlike Bella) This book was an easy read, and what I mean about that is, you weren't skipping pages to get through all the mindless blather. I highly recommend this book for Vampire lovers, and even if you are not, you will still love it! I enjoyed it very much!!

Get swept away...
Tera Lynn Child's has crafted a series about Greek gods and now she is at it again, except this time it's mermaids. It's not your run-of-the-mill Little Mermaid story either. I had no idea what to expect from this story about a mermaid. Sounds crazy for a teen book, right? Well it was absolutely fantastic! You're grabbed right from the start and want to find out what happens to Lily next. She ...

Inspiring celebration of the power of writing
I thought this book was amazing. I have long known that words have the power to change lives, but never have I seen a children's book that expresses that sentiment as eloquently as this one. This book follows a group of fourth graders and their experiences with a visiting author who instructs them on the power of words. They talk about landscape and character and what is real versus unreal. ...
