Toes, Ears, & Nose! A Lift-the-Flap Book89 reviews
Marion Dane Bauer, Karen Katz

Little Simon, 2003

Another great book from Karen Katz
My kids got a lot of use out of these books. Why? The pages are thicker with a nice hard back. The colors are bright with illustrations that all kids seem interested in. The reading is simple, yet interactive. The flaps are paper, so for those under 2, they will eventually pull them off. But it seems like once they reach 2, then they are able to be more gentle and enjoy reaching out to pull up ...

A Potty for Me!: A Lift-the-Flap Instruction Manual72 reviews

Little Simon, 2004

Daughter loves this book.
My 21 month old LOVES this book- I have to read it to her at least 3 times A DAY right now. She's a bit obsessed- we're just starting to potty train and she loves pointing to the picture at bathtime and yelling "baby butt". And now she babbles when sitting on the potty. It's making the process fun!

A wonderful book with great illustrations, and the brushing teeth of course is a bonus, anything to get a child to do so is always welcome. A good bedtime story.

EXCELLENT!
This book is magnificent! It is one of my favorite children's books. I made a recording of me reading the book and the children in the class always walks around singing the the book as a song. It is a book they will always remember. It is at the top of my list of recommended reading!

Where Is Baby's Belly Button?177 reviews

Little Simon, 2000

I'm so tired of reading it it!
My 13 month old daughter LOVES this book! She wants me to read it all day everyday. When she is walking around more often than not she has it in her hands. She like pointing to the babies and lifting the flaps. Your child may or may not be as intersted in the book as she is but its worth a shot.

Blue Hat, Green Hat71 reviews

Little Simon, 1984

BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT!!!!!!
I bought this on a whim for my 18 month old grandson, having never heard of Sandra Boynton. Ok, so I've lived abroad for like EVER, and this is our first grandchild ... long story. But I cannot praise this book highly enough -- as our previous reviewer mentioned, it is belly-laughs galore for our little man! (You should hear how he cracks up when we embellish the Oops! to "Oopsie Poopsie!!" ...

Doggies (Boynton Board Books (Simon & Schuster))67 reviews
Sandra Boynton

Little Simon, 1984

Great book!
I love this book. It could probably be argued that there is some educational value with the counting of dogs, but my child loves it because each dog barks different and he likes to bark along with them. It's really a brilliant book.

I purchased this book because of the last page. I had seen it at my Book Club and knew my grandchildren would love it. They love peaking down the rabbits hole and finding the additional pop ups on each page. A book you will definately want to pass on down the family. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: A Commemorative Pop-up124 reviews
L. Frank Baum

Little Simon, 2001

Wonderful Wizard is Wonderful
I bought this book as a birthday present for my Dorothy-obsessed 3-year old and she LOVES it. I was a little worried that it would be seriously abridged when I read that it only had 16 pages, but no need to fear. Within each page is a chapter of the book so there is plenty of story. It takes almost an hour to read it to her but it is well-worth it.
