Nursing Diagnosis Handbook
This book was required for my school of nursing and I'm really glad I spent the money on it. It has not only basic interventions and rationales for nursing care, but also teaching, medication, lab, pediatric and geriatric interventions with the rationales. I have literally 10 other nursing care plan books, but this is the one most of my interventions come from.

Could not be better
This is the finest text a pediatrician can own for daily practice, board brush up and companion to the standard textbooks. It can fill many gaps inherent in the nature of pediatric training and is eminently relevant. If the authors never pen another things, they can be forever proud of this work. Brava.

The Best Nursing Study Guide I've Used
I have often been frustrated by "study guides," left with the feeling that I didn't really get value for my money . . . the same can not be said for this study guide. Answers are given at the back, but more important the answers come with rationals that help to truly "OWN" the concept. Buy it or wish you had later.

complete and detailed... just like medical school should be.
I've heard some say this book is too detailed for a quick review, and they would rather stick with FA. They must of missed the memo that in medical school you have to know everything and know it in detail. This book is the real deal. If you know these concepts and can work them from a few angles you will surely do well on the boards. If you just read FA you're in trouble. This book should be ...

Great
I am very happy with this book. I know students that got the two volumes and they are happy, too. The information in the 7th edition is presented clearly. There are tables for everything...medications, diagnosis, illnesses, etc. Farely easy to read. Can't go wrong with it. I, also, purchased the companion, it is good for looking up things quickly and doing patho. I am now getting the study guide, ...

Perfect for Med School
I purchased this book after looking at a friend's copy. Its great for figuring out what test results actually mean (especially for CBCs and BMPs). It breaks down every test, what its used for, when to order it - and what it means when high or low. Great reference for anyone in the medical field. ps -I saw 3 copies of this book in the ICU the other day...

From a Pharmacy Instructor
I have been involved with Pharmacy for over 20 years and teach a pharmacy tech program here in the California area. First, after teaching for 12 years, I have NEVER encountered a book without typos. Unfortunate? Sure, but it is the way it is. This is the BEST book to review for the PTCE. Period. My key word here is REVIEW. This is NOT a book to get a beginner started. Many of my ...

Tip-Top
This was a text in my master's program, I now work developing education programs for personal trainers and use Neumann's book as a prime reference. The author does an excellent job of describing how muscles function in vertical, upright movements as opposed to how they are often described from a horizontal, supine position on a table. This book is a must-have reference for any fitness ...

Excellent Office Reference - Used almost every day
I have owned or used the various editions of Habif's Clinical Dermatology for over ten years in our general internal medicine practice and return to it again and again. I have also used a variety of other Dermatology books brought in by staff - typically the $60 - $80 range books. They are typically o.k. but nothing stands up to Habif and I recommending spending the extra $ for it (in the $125 ...
