Got safety glasses??
Good book. BUT compleatly failed to mention safety glasses. These are IMPORTANT. you need to get a good pair and wear them when you are working in your shop. unless you think you will look good with a eyepatch.

Best there is! But you should be warned ...
of the dangers of reloading rifle ammo down to subsonic velocities. A rifle round that safely holds 15 to 20 grains of powder can explode and possibly kill the shooter when loaded with only 4 grains of powder. This problem was not mentioned in the book, and there are ways to eliminate the problem (enlarge primer hole, use PISTOL powders, start high and load down).

Wonderful x 10
Warriors is a fabulous book that should be read by every cop, soldier and relative of one. Christensen wrote ON COMBAT with Col. Dave Grossman and that book should also be in every warrior's library. Somehow Christensen got some of the top warriors in the country to write an article for this book. There is something in it for military people, law enforcement, and martial artists. Some of ...

A needed tool for law officers
As a former Oakland, CA police sergeant and veteran of a number deadly force encounters, I can recommend this book to all street officers. In 1972 I was involved in an incident with an armed suspect who was killed. Today I can still relate the incident second by second. It will never leave me. This book allows you to gain from experience of deadly encounters without having to go through it ...

SOG:A photo history of secret wars
I read the book SOG, and as with any book relating true life war stories, you try to picture in your mind the people, surroundings and the enemy as they saw it. A Photo History, brought all of this to life for me. Excellent Book !!!

Powerful advice
Miyamoto Musashi, arguably the greatest swordsman who ever lived, advocated quickness and power as superior to strength and speed. Exceptional martial artists in every style demonstrate both quickness and power in all their applications, overwhelming opponents with seemingly little effort. Mr. Christensen's best selling book Speed Training covered the quickness aspect. This outstanding book ...

An Excellently Researched Work
This is an excellent book. The techniques within are understandable to someone completely inexperienced with the weapon, yet still challenging and resourceful to someone who has worked with it a great deal. Mr. McLemore's research is admirable. I have studied various styles of historic combat as my cognate studies for my PhD, and can attest to the lack of written information with regard to these ...

GREAT OVERVIEW OF THE SUBJECT MATTER
This is one of the best self-defense manuals available, at any price ("Cheap Shots" by MacYoung, and "Hardcore Self-Defense" by Jahn are also most excellent), which is high praise indeed, considering how flooded the market is with this type of material. I have read every book in the "Black Medicine" series, and this is the best of them all. The others in the series tend to be a bit more ...

Excellent
I definately recommend this book to both TaiChi and ChiGung pratictioners. It is packed with smart and useful information. The forms are well explained. The relations between the forms and healing as well as martial application are clear and concise. The pictures, although not worth publication in National Geographics, are explanatory.

The Defining Work on Tactical Shooting
This book is phenomenal in its scope and detail, and the author has the vast amount of experience in both years and combat to back it up in gold. I was truly pleased that this book was everything I had hoped and heard it to be when I bought it. The author writes as though he is speaking to you both as an instructor and as a fellow shooter...because of this everything he discusses is very clear ...

Superlative!
I am proud to call Rick Bauer a friend and his prescence in my martial art life has always been positive, informative and influential. His long tireless work to bring this superlative book to fruition, on a deeply intricate and little known art, Dim Mak, is commendable. This collaborative effort with Master Flane Walker has long been needed and I am now able to clearly state that this is the ...

A True Gem of a Book
Once in a blue moon a true gem of a knife-fighting book appears on the market, and James Loriega's translation of this cult classic certainly fits that bill. For years, I've heard of the Manual Del Baratero in hushed tones as if it contained the "Holy Grail" of knife-fighting secrets. (Usually by knife instructors who not only could not read Spanish but certainly had no clue as to the idioms of ...

Take advantage of the hottest financial trend today!
An offshore haven is simply a country other than your own. To an American, it's anywhere you bank outside of the U.S. Why invest in offshore havens? Because when you invest outside your own country, you are no longer tied to its restrictive financial laws, and can protect your assets, save taxes and build your wealth easier. Most of us have been hoodwinked into thinking that offshore ...

The Worldwide Assault on Wealth
Today your wealth and ability to do with it as you please are in great danger. Not only is there a proliferation of thieves and parasites armed with sophisticated electronic weapons that can steal our money, but the government itself -- the very institution we should rely on to guard our rights -- is after our wealth more persistently and maliciously than any thief in the world. All over ...

It's about time
Finally. A novelty ID construction book that deals with the meat of ID construction. Refreshingly, two chapters WERE NOT dedicated to lamination. I think we all know how to laminate. MUCH ATTENTION was paid to creating holograms (something we actually need to learn). The research was obvoiusly thorough and comprehensive. The author does not take credit for ideas that aren't his. All his sources ...

Superb Workmanship - The German Sniper Bible!
After owning this book for some time and only glancing through it, I took it upon myself to go through it in detail. Like all of the other books by Mr. Senich, the attention to detail and focus on the technical side of the German weapon systems (and supporting equipment) is second to none. The photography is splendid, the focus on equipment (including serial numbers) is accurate and sharp, and ...
