Awesome
This is probably the best biography you'll ever find on blink-182. It's really funny, and you'll learn a bunch of stuff you have probably never known about the band. If you love blink, you should buy it.

A fun read for a great price
Like many other fans, I had seen many of these photos already. But some were new to me, and going through the pictorial history with the commentary from Gene and Paul -- which was, as always, interesting, yet self-aggrandizing -- was well worth the six or seven bucks I paid for this used. Another reviewer noted that Gene's eyes are blacked out in many of the photos. I noticed that as well, and ...

Tupac Shakur Book Is A Must-Buy!
As a massive fan of the late great Tupac Shakur, there are few publishings that capture as much information and insight into his life and career as this amazing book from the good people at Vibe Magazine. Consisting of every Vibe article and interview written on Shakur between 1994-97, this gives even the most casual of Pac's fans more information than they could ever dream of. With features on ...

The Death Of An Angel
2PAC...was,is,and will be forever in our hearts. I really don't know what to believe:is he death or not...because here,in romania a lot of magazines keep saying that he is not death...why?Just becaue they wanna be close to him,or what? suspicious events:13th is a day which usually doesn't bring us good news.Interesting is that there weren't any pictures with PAC bleeding. In his song "Life Goes ...

Great book - a must for Biggie Smalls fans!
After reading this book, I have a much better understanding of what went on behind the scenes after the murder and also gave me insight into the rap music world. I doubt if there will ever be a better biography of his life. This book was easy to follow - I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

Best documentary on the Wu, even better than a video.
Great read, amazing stories, breakdowns of the most famous lyrics and the mathematics of it all. As a long time Wu fan, I have read and seen almost every documentary type thing that has come out about them, and none of them were even close to the Wu-Tang Manual. This is a book that I flipped through when it first came out at the bookstore, and immediately was compelled to buy it. If you are ...

Incredibly Strange Films

One of the best analyses of a frequently trivialized area of film
It's been a year since I bought this book and read it; I still frequently go back to it. This is one of the best books on the subject of forgotten and low budget films, primarily exploitation. One of the key elements that makes this book stand out is that it does not view the films as a novelty or apply that so over used term "So bad their good." There's a real sincerity, respect, and ...

Lovely book.
It's good for anyone who reads. If you hate him, this book will educate you on why you're an idiot. If you hate his music but like his ideas, then this would be a good read.

Michael Eric Dyson

FASCINATING
This book was amazing. I am from rural Nebraska, and was only 10 when Tupac was killed, so I knew almost nothing about him. I have since purchased EVERY Tupac CD and would recommend this book to you. Michael Eric Dyson is a very intelligent man that shows you the duality that is required of black men in our society.

Great read, couldn't put it down
I truly enjoyed getting to know Jim Morrison and the Doors through reading this book. Although the authors tend to idolize him as some sort of half-human, half-rock god sort of being, it's still a very interesting story worth the read.

This book changed my life.
Today is the day I turn 33 years old, and out of all those years, and all of the books I've read, this one takes the proverbial cake. Birthday cake, if you will. Levon Helm is one of my heroes, and with a little help from his friends, he's managed to write a book that truly takes the reader through time and space to where modern rock was conceived, born, and learned to run like an antelope out ...
