Penguin Enriched eBook: the best Kindle edition so far.
The "Enriched" Pride and Prejudice sits somewhere between the Penguin Classics editions, with introduction and endnotes, and the more comprehensive and scholarly-minded Norton Critical editions. What you get with this book is a carefully set text, with original spelling and punctuation maintained, plus the following "bonus features": * Introduction (with spoiler alert at the beginning, nice!) ...

Unique and Fabulous
I love Kresley Cole and the entire immortals after dark series - I am not a huge paranormal romance fan (generally go with the traditional historical romance.) But man am I glad I bought this - I have read it probably three or four times - it never gets old and always amuses me. The H/H are both fantastic characters... yes, it is a bit "hot and steamy" and I wouldn't necessarily read in public ...

Back to Form
Stories like this one reminds why Stephen King is one of the best selling authors of all time. He takes ordinary people that we inevitably care about and put them in an extraordinary situation and we watch them get out of it . . . Or not, in some cases. Brilliant!!!

Put Simply is Always Best
"The Democrats are not what they were when your mother was a kid," says my grandmother, who is in her 70s. She voted (D) her entire life up to this last election. "Obama is not a Democrat." She said and I agreed. I naturally found myself a conservative, however. It was a fit that I couldn't change, and believe me, I tried. Where I am from the common belief is, "We are too poor to be ...

Competent enough to be enjoyable
The basic plot of the story is this: Clarissa Astley must find her ten year old brother before he dies of infection or neglect brought on by their uncle, and in the process of searching runs into Jasper, Earl of Blackwater. He, intrigued by her beauty, makes her an offer which she takes in order to provide her brother and herself protection and a place to hide from her evil uncle who needs them ...

Matt loved the book.
I kindled it, started reading it, and devoured it. It was conversational and funny. The writing advice was poignant, even as it included tips that are not unique - how many ways can one tell others how to write? I was open to instruction and did not carry preconceived notions, so the advice was of value to me. However, I did the writing exercise only to find out that submissions are no longer ...

Finally
I loved this book. It was great to visit with the Malorys again. Even though the main characters were not directly related to the Malorys their involvment made me feel like I was visiting old friends. By the way James Malory is the greatest

very enlightening
I read this book in one day. It was so interesting the way the story was told from the perspective of the person with Alzheimers. Every caregiver should read this book to help them understand what their spouse, relative or friend may be feeling as they cope with this disease. I know the book is fictional but it really addresses the fears and stress of this disease. How to tell family and friends, ...

Couldn't put it down
I read this book in two days. It was one of those great books that grabs your attention and makes you get less sleep reading it. I could see the plot play out in America today. It was strange how it was so relevant to what we are going through today.

One of Picoult's Best to read with your teen
Reading with your teen this book has it all. Voice, perspective, controversy, and teen interest. The mother is a sympathetic character for adults and she is a villian in the eyes of a teen. The teen aged son is a challenge and a thorn in the parents' side and teen girls love him. The father is an enabler and often not recognized for his leadership in the family. Before Picoult began formula ...

Vince Flynn is the BEST at this!
If you want the best read of the decade, read ANY of Vince Flynn's novels. You'll cheer, cry, and even cuss but you'll be begging for more of Mitch Rapp.

I LOVED this book!
This was my first introduction to Kresley Cole, and she is quickly becoming one of my favorite romance authors. I LOVED this book! I had a hard time getting into the first 10 pages or so, but after that the book took off. I laughed out loud countless times with her spunky characters, and literally read this book in one setting - I had to see what happened next! The book centers around a ...

Suspenseful and Sexy
What an exciting and sexy book. I loved the interplay between the two main characters from the very beginning and the main storyline was equally exciting. Unspeakable is a wonderful romantic suspense. Unspeakable is the second book in the Tracers series, with Untraceable being the first. I have not read the first one, but will go back and read it now. I believe they work well as standalone ...

I picked up my copy from a yard sale. The previous owners didn't get around to reading it, I think. I liked it so well I bought copies for my kids from Amazon.

My favorite of the series!
What a well-done book! I am quickly becoming a huge fan of Kresley Cole. "Wicked Deeds" begins with Bowen and Mariketa participating in the Hie, a paranormal Amazing Race. The prize is a key that allows the owner to travel back in time. Bowen desparately needs this key to be reunited with his mate, a woman who died 180 years prior while running from his Lykae form. Bowen obviously has a ...

My Favorite in the Series
Let me preface this with Cade is my favorite character in this series, so my opinion might be skewed. I won't go into the plot b/c plenty of other reviewers have. I find Cade fascinating b/c despite his tortured background (which all the men in this series have), through some serious mental compartmentalizing he managed to retain his personality, rather than turning completely dark and ...
