It's all so beautiful...
This book is excellent! I found the life of Madame Alexander very interesting and read this book from cover to cover. I hated to put it down. If it were not for Madame Alexander we might not know Scarlett O'Hara or Barbie as we know them today. We have a lot to thank her for...you will be amazed! I also enjoyed the photographs of the dolls. Lia Sargent, the leading expert on pre 1965 ...

Bear hospital in a book
I have many books on how to make teddy bears and I bought this one to tell how to take care of them. From dusting them to repairing some of the old Steiff bears and cats that I have. This book is very helpful with great hints to make sure that yard sale find does not infest the rest of a collection. The pictures are great, old stuffed friends brought back to life. Even a treasured friend ...

For those of us who could never afford a Lichtenfels piece, this is the next best thing. The realism and detail she is able to achieve in cloth is astonishing. The beautiful large-format all-color photography does justice to these amazing works. One of the most important artists in the field.

Teddy Bear Lovers' Delight
As the grandmother of four granddaughters, ages 7 through 13, it was hard to find one book, to give as a holiday present, that all would enjoy. Well, I found it in The Tale of Two Teddies. Each of the girls read the book (the youngest with a bit of Gramma's help), and adored it. They love the illustrations, and the gentle personalities of the two different Teddy Bears -- one American, one ...
