A MUST READ FOR ALL...from author of EXPLOSION IN PARIS...
This book is a heart-wrenching, beautiful example of what God intended love between a husband and wife to be. Michael and Angel. Angel kept running away, feeling unworthy of love, only deserving the so-called love that the world showed her, which was empty and fake. Michael's character shows the reader true unconditional love and endless patience. This is a beautiful, heartwarming, touching ...

Still my Favorite!
Yes out of all of his books and others this book is still one of my favorite books of all time, I can't count how many times I have read this book over and over. I think the fact that it was one of the first books I fell in love with that is why it will always remain near and dear to me. Eric is such a skillful story teller that I fall in love with his novels, he weaves humor throughout the story ...

Best book in the universe!
I have read many, many, great books. Mossflower would totally be at the top of the list! I started reading it, and I just couldn't put it down! The plot and characters draaw you in, until you fell like you are in Mossflower woods, helping Martin, young Dinny, and Gonff find Salamandstrom. This book is amazing, and I definitely reccomend it for ages 6 and up!

RIVETING NARRATION OF THIS AMERICAN CLASSIC
A frequent Audie finalist and Earphones award winner Dan John Miller delivers a riveting narration of the book many have called an American classic. Also a film actor and songwriter Miller gives eloquent voice to protagonist Will McLean who attends the South Carolina Military Institute, which is a fictional military school and said to be inspired by Conroy's personal experiences at The Citadel. ...

Flood's 'Night to Remember'
I have just re-read `The Johnstown Flood,' and it brought to mind how similar in structure and narrative methodology it is to Walter Lord's classic account of the Titanic disaster, `A Night to Remember.' Both treat with relatively brief periods of time which are dissected hour by hour. Both recount the respective disasters by carefully setting the stage with principal actors and pivotal events, ...

Still a classic!!!
I first read this book 22 years ago and was amazed by the action in this book. I gave some serious thought to getting a helicopter pilot license, but life got in the way and that has not happened. I just came across the title recently and decided to buy it again. Wow, did I forget a lot in those 22 years. This book is an excellent read. The book tells the tale of Bob Mason and his military ...

The Best Christmas Tale Ever!
Barbara Robinson has crafted a fantastic tale of the meaning of Christmas. In this 80 page book we come to fear and love the Herdmann clan, a gaggle of 6 kids that see the world their own way, and take it on in their own terms. They are just as likely to klonk a kid in the head as ignore them. They are the "closest thing to criminals that we knew." What does this have to do with Christmas? ...

Enlightening take on The Book of Revelation and also on the Eucharist
This book was suggested as extra reading along with a Bible study at a church. The study was entitled "The Bible and The Mass". Everyone that had gotten hold of a copy of "The Lamb's Supper" thought it was great. My husband didn't go to the study but read the book after I said how wonderful it was. It was the first time I had gotten an explanation of the Book of Revelation that seemed to make ...

An All-time Favorite
The Silver Crown is one of my all-time favorite books. Adventure, mystery, a little magic and Ellen, a strong young heroine, makes this a fast and satisfying read. Ellen's bravery and strong sense of self serves her well as she ventures forth on a sometimes dangerous journey filled with surprises. O'Brien's characters are original and his plot compelling. Don't be deterred by what appears to ...

COULD BE A MOVIE!!!
I FIRST READ R-F-W IN 1992, I HAVE SINCE READ THE NOVEL 10 TIMES. AS A CIVIL WAR BUFF I REALLY ENJOYED THE WESTERN FRONTIER BATTLES. IN HISTORY CLASS ONE USUALLY NEVER GETS MUCH INSIGHT ON THOSE AREAS OF THE CIVIL WAR. I LOVE THE PASE OF THIS NOVEL, IT SEEMS AS IF IT NEVER SLOWS DOWN. I REMEMBER AS A KID FALLING IN LOVE WITH THE CHARECTERS AND WANTING TO BE THEM. WHEN I DEPLOYED TO IRAQ IN 03 ...

Astounding and suspensful!!!!
Yet again, Brian Jacques has created another wonderful tale of war, adventure, laughter, and a whole lot of good cooking. With a combination of vivid description and a suspenseful plot, this book is a great read. The story is set in several places, which include Redwall, Mossflower woods, and Salamandastron. This story is told in several different character's points of view, which gives it an ...

Absolutely a Great Book!
This is a great book. In this book Alex investigates a famous pop star Damian Cray. M16 does not help him in this mission. My favorite part was when he was trapped in a version of a computer game. You should buy this book.
