One of the very best!
I didn't buy my copy through Amazon because it was an impulse purchase and I am so glad it was. It is unfortuante I waited until my 30s to read it. A true classic I'll never tire of reading again and again!

I just finished this series of Kat Martin's Brides. Royal, Reese and Rule's stories were all spell binding, and I thoroughly enjoyed each one and want MORE! Ginger Johnson

Good Romantic Suspense
Dinah Westlake was in the house when her cousin Annabel was murdered, but a head injury blocked her memory of what really happened. The police suspected Marc, Annabel's husband, but there wasn't enough evidence to convict him. Now he has come back to Charleston, bringing Courtney, his son, to spend Christmas in the house where Annabel died. Marc's coming stirs everything up again. Some people are ...

From the Author
You might think it's easy for an author to give her own book five stars but I want to share a note from a reader with you. Toni wrote: "Hi Sandra. I'm writing to tell you the "Bedroom Business" is a fabulous book. I laughed, I cried, and fell in love with Jake even though he was a scoundrel...Fantastic! keep at it. This book is a keeper and I know I'll pick it up again for the wonderful emotions ...

Highly enjoyable!
This fifth addition to the Marcelli sisters series was well worth the wait and I so thoroughly enjoyed the story and revisiting the wonderful Marcelli family. It was upsetting at times but the final results was worth the hard times for the characters.

I loved this book
I enjoyed this book. It started off slow for my taste but I stuck with it and boy was I glad. I coudn't put it down. The lessons of this book are profound and make for good discussions. Some of it I could identify with as my mother and grandmother did domestic work for white families in the early 70's. They were always treated well but I suspect they would have never been invited to a wedding or ...

It gave me a lot to think about
The plot has been discussed, so I won't even go there. I have to be honest and say that when I first started this book, I really wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get through it. It was just tedious at the beginning, but because the reviews were so good, I decided to stay with it. I am so glad I did. When the book finally took hold for me, I couldn't put it down. I like books that ...

very good series
I found this series after reading several romance/paranormal books and was quite surprised at how quickly i was sucked in! Some question this book even being linked to romance, however I feel it was the possibility (or impossibility) of a romance that was the heart of the story. It's not a book for those of you that like the typical romance novel. It is not the focus of the story, but is an ...

Donna Leon
Thorndike Press, 2010
Good, but nowhere near her finest piece of work!
I've read ever book in the Brunetti series and I always eagerly await Donna Leon's next novel, unfortunately this latest book, although worth reading, is nowhere near her best work. The book moves at a snails pace and far to much is made of the heat wave in Venice and how intolerable it is to the locals. There is a decent plot and a few unexpected twists, but in the end, the overall flow of the ...

Brad Thor

An exciting thriller
Brad Thor and Vince Flynn are my two favorite authors who write political action thrillers with protagonists who take a no nonsense approach in dealing with terrorists. In this novel former Navy Seal Scot Horvath, who is Thor's protagonist, is assigned by the highly covert government agency for whom he works to capture the Troll, with whom Horvath has dealt in other novels, because the agency ...

Eye Opener
As I read this book I began to see myself in the pages, and although I was not able to travel for a year I felt as though Elizabeth took me with her! It made me open my eyes to the abusive relationship I was in and that I needed to find my true self, if not for me then for my 2 daughters. I now am a 28 year old divorced single mother of 2, a college student with a full time job and 3 days after ...

Exceptional character study. Creates thought and wonder at the author's ability to craft such a story.

Are they perfect? No. Did I love them? YES!
Eclipse is my favorite Twilight book. I think it's because we learn so much more about Rosalie and Jasper, two characters that are very mysterious. Are these books the best ever? Probably not, but who knows? I mean, was Jane Austen regarded as great author or was she just a silly woman writing books for other silly women? The same could be said of Stephanie Meyer, a silly woman writing ...

Interesting plot, Yes - Better Writing, Maybe?
Home sick today and just finished reading Irresistible Forces. It was a nice summer romance for the pool/beach. Not the best writing, but still good for just a fun, quick read. If anyone knows which book has Cheyenne's story, please post! Thanks. I have to say I really don't understand all the negative reviews?? For those who thought this story was boring, I can basically understand, ...

Best Book Ever!
This was such an amazing book :) It had just the right about of sexiness and romance to balance out the suspense and horror. I honestly never saw the end coming! Everything connected so perfectly! Sharon Sala is definitely an amazing author. My only problem with this book was the fact that there were 2 pages of paper smack down in the middle of the book, offering a deal. It was basically just a ...

Exceeded my expectations!
I bought this book because it was recommended by Amazon when I purchased an Andrew Vachss novel. The cover looked kind of cheesy, like an old Mickey Spillane paperback, but once I started into it, this book was unlike any other mystery I've ever read. The main character was incredibly refreshing. He is not a "hard boiled" detective- He's just a regular guy. In fact, I felt like I could ...

A wonderful historical western romance!
I was fortunate to get this free on my Kindle. I like historical romance, but seldom have read historical westerns. I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful read and went on to purchase her next two books in the series, and cannot wait for the 4th! It is Christian romance without becoming preach-y, which I appreciate. I enjoyed it so much, I just ordered a book for my niece--which is nice because I ...
