excellent writing
My 5 yr old daughter received this book from me for Christmas. The stories are very short (about 1-3 pages each) but so much is packed within each story. They are all age appropriate for any age; they are calming, interesting, and they draw the children in with their playful, magical characters and the expreiences that they all have. There is no one religious focus here so it is more than ...

Huge help!
I bought this book a little over a year after discovering my husband's affair, and I wish I found it earlier when I was feeling a lot of the same feelings Anne was feeling shortly after the discovery. I feel that by reading this book I was connecting to someone who knows exactly how I was feeling. I would highly recommend this book to anyone going through a marital affair.

A must for every ESL teacher or student
I've bought this book because I wanted to create more interesting lessons for my advanced students and found that introducing idioms would be a nice start. I really like the way the author approaches the new subject and think the exercises are effective when it comes to learning vocabulary, idioms, slangs and expressions. The discussion questions are well planned showing the students how the ...

Cliff notes for ITSM metrics - Stands on its own but is better as a complementary text
Wouldn't it be nice if you knew what you desired to measure and analyze prior to rolling out new ITSM processes or their enabling tools? What if you have no former point of reference or an entire lack of metrics? You could start from scratch or use this book as a starting point and modify accordingly. The later option will provide more time for determining how best to capture, disseminate, report ...

Its like CPR for the victim of an affair!
This book was highly, highly recommended to me --- unfortunately 4 months after I was in the shock factor of discovery. If I'd know, I'd bought it the day I found out. It would have helped my marriage tremdously....possibly even saved it. Now it is still helping me with my own feelings as I try to continue on. Truth - abrupt - necessary - required reading!!!

great book
After just one day on one of the eating programs my body was a fuel burning fortress. I've never felt this good before I can't wait to see the results. Author is very helpful by returning emails also. Emailed a question about one of the programs and he responded in less than 3 min.

different versions of gingerbread man (boy, baby, man, cowboy, girl).
I had never seen so many of the versions of the "Gingerbread Boy(Man, Baby, Girl and Cowboy) even at our largest bookstores. I saw them for the first time on-line. The variety on the market was exciting to me, too. From the variety available I chose books that had a different twist but remained within the level of knowledge and understanding for my students. The students talked about the ...
Teach Your Child to Read in Just Ten Minutes a Day

The best program available! No more sightwords, guessing, and boring repetetive books!!!!
The program presented in this book is better than the others because it is pure phonics. The kids learn to read and then memorize sight words by reading them in context without even realizing it. The backbone of the program is a fun little game that encourages children to practice decoding words. They play the game for tokens, stickers, treats, or privileges. I had to limit it for my kids ...

My 5 yr old daughter asks for this every night!
These are lovely little stories with a few black and white drawings> I think that makes it good for a bedtime story because they can just lay and listen and not want to keep looking at the pictures.

Yoga at Your Wall: Stretch Your Body, Strengthen Your Soul, Support Your Practice

A MUST HAVE YOGA BOOK!
I just love this book! I NEVER did yoga at the wall before, so this was a big revelation for me. There are so many postures that I like to do at the wall, that to pick just one or two is really tough. The best part of using the wall is that you don't need to have someone there to help you hold a difficult pose or to assist in a pose that you can't really do. You simply use the wall as your ...

Wordbook of Australian Idiom - Aussie Slang: No Worries! She's Apples!

well done and easy to reference
This book is very straight forward and alphabetically listed in translation style with sentence examples. A nice little refence guide. My only critisism is that it could probably have been a bit more comprehensive, but it is definitely a good starting point for anyone new to Aussie expressions.

Great gift for a school age child!
I gave this book as a birth day gift to my friend's son who is 12 year old. He succeeded in solving the Rubik's Cube the same weekend and was thrilled. The pictorial nature of the book makes it fun to learn. Now the book is making a round among his friends. I am ordering three more copies and plan to use them as gifts at birthdays and other events.

Interlocking and 3D Paper Airplanes

Teong Hin Tan

Innovative, Creative, Flyable
I've actually become a collector of books on paper airplanes, and at this stage I must have 20 or 30 of them. So I thought I must have seen pretty much everything that was possible in the way of paper airplane design. I was wrong, though - I hadn't seen anything resembling the designs in Teong Hin Tan's book. He's hit on a couple of new, creative ways of using basic folds, to produce models ...
