Lots of great ideas!
This book has a great variety of projects using many different techniques and media. Full color photographs and explanations for each project make them easy to duplicate. Also, there are many pictures of other projects done using similar techniques. As a homeschooling parent of elementary-age students, I found this book to be a great addition to our art curriculum. I can teach art concepts ...

We love this whole series
The illustrations are simple and engaging, the textures are varied (both within a book and from book to book), and the wide-ranging adjectives in an otherwise repetitive text make these books good vocabulary builders. Can't recommend this enough for babies, toddlers, and even preschoolers.

Well done!
That's Not My Puppy: Its Coat Is Too Hairy is short and sweet on length, but wonderfully entertaining with textures. This is a great, sturdy board book that very little readers will enjoy multiple times. And, when you've explored all you want about the dogs, you can always discuss that cute little mouse who seems to appear on every single page! Cute, educational, and very, very ...

Animal Hide-and-Seek
This is a fabulous book for babies 8 to 9 months and up. I would even buy it for a 6 month old. It's a great talk about book. They learn about the names of animals, textures, colors, shapes. Adlib anything you want to add. It's a flap book and a touchy feely book that is beautifully illustrated, colorful to look at, and holds up to their handling over and over. Older children love reading it to ...

My 5-year-old LOVES this book!
My daughter received this book (along with I Can Draw Animals also excellent!) for Christmas (which was 2 days before her 5th birthday) and she LOVES it! Very easy directions she can follow all by herself and something she uses over and over again! Great book for little artists!

easy instructions with great results
From the day my 5year old daughter got hold of this book and "I can draw animals" she is stuck with these. She completed 4 drawings at one sitting and always wants to do more. The best part is the simple visual instruction that shows the way without any adult supervision. Great book!

Awesome picture book
This is an awesome picture book to be read to children age 1 to 5. Children who can read also love reading it to their younger siblings. It's beautiful with lots of pictures and educational to learn about the moon and astronauts. The kids love this book and read it over and over. There are other great picture books on www.suesbooks.info. I have collected loads of these books. Can't get enough ...

Great books!
These books are such a hit with my son who is now 3 and still loves them. In fact I have just recently bought more of them. We started with That's Not My Car.. and it seems have started an addiction. They are great fun and we take turns picking out which car (monster, puppy, train..etc) we like best. We also look for the mouse on each page. I think these are some of the best toddler books ...

Fuzzy, Fluffy, Squashy Fun
Our twin babies are enjoying these "That's Not My..." books. These are more engaging than some of the other touchy-feely books we've got. Some books put materials in the pages for the babies to touch, just for the sake of having them there - and the words don't seem to "match up" with the thing we're feeling, or they are so stretched for material that it barely makes sense what we're feeling. ...

Perfect mix of art and art history!
This book is wonderful! I am planning to use it as an art/art history curriculum for my kindergarten-age daughter in the fall, and I can hardly wait to get started! The book includes art by 22 artists from better-known van Gogh, Degas, and Picasso to lesser-known 20th-century artists and unknown African mask makers and Iranian tile artists. One work of art by each artist is showcased along ...

Beautiful intro to Bible stories for your 3-5 year old child
The Usborne Children's Bible includes about 45 stories, half Old Testament, half New Testament. Each story is told in about three pages on average (some have only one page, the crucifixion is told in seven pages) accompanied by colorful and more importantly beautiful illustrations. This edition is really wonderful for parents who disdain children's Bibles with goofy cartoonish drawings or the ...

Entertaining, creative fun!
These books provide hours of entertainment and are great fun for the child, the friends, siblings and the parents. All will enjoy these books. Puzzle Castle is about " Sophie " who is helping her friend find the monster in the dungeons before the grand banquet. " Cecil " the castle ghost you must find on each of the double pages and he does hide! " Jester Jim " is practicing juggling and you ...

great book for little fairy fans
This book is wonderful for early readers or non readers. There is very little text on each page, just a title and lots of pictures. I bought this for my daughter because she likes fairies and search and find books keep my children busy for quite some time. The great thing about this book, though, is that it allows non-readers to work independently. The number is right next to the item they ...

interactive books....
This is the third book of "That's Not My...." series that I have bought for gifts. I bought this title for my little sis and she LOVES it. I like how it is interactive so even if a little one can't read yet they can enjoy the book on their own.

Excellent Book!
These books are great! The entire concept of the hidden picture gets the kids really thinking. The adventure of learning that follows each picture just amazes me. The Where's Waldo books did not appeal to our family. We love the " I spy " books and those pictures are magnificent! These books however, the pictures do captivate you but there is a learning process with each picture. My ...

must have for elementary teachers, parents and creative kids
This colorful art book, is full of great ideas for elementary aged children. The projects are easy to read and recreate. The color images are inviting. The art images serve as inspriation for young artists. As an elementary teacher I plan to use this book full of easy and creative art ideas as my school years art curriculum. Fun, fun, fun, (again, again and again!)
Like all of the books in the "Puzzle" series this book on its first reading kept my children (6 and 4 years) occupied for an age. However what sets these books apart from other "look and find" puzzle books is their ability to be re-read again and again. Even though both my children know all the answers and where the "hidden" objects are, these books are read at several times a week at least! ...

Best baby book
This is my son's favorite book. I started reading it to him when he was about 3 months old and he still loves it at 9 months. (When his toddler friends visit, they read right along too.) The simple but bright graphics really hold his attention and he now loves to feel the different textures on each page. This was such a hit that we now own That's Not My...: Train, Tractor, Dinosaur, Puppy and ...
