Natural Beauty Basics
I liked this book since the ingredients are obtainable and the recipes are fairly simplistic. The recipes in another book I read were so complicated that I wasn't even interested to try them but not so with this book - these are possible to do without alot of time invested. I also like the explanation of the attributes for the ingredients so if you want to substitute, you can look at the list ...

Awesome Cookbook, A Life Saver for the Allergic Person!
I just purchased this book a few weeks ago and I love it. Every recipe I have tried so far has turned out fantastic. I have to be on a very restrictive diet while breast feeding my very food allergic daughter and it was just so wonderful to be able to cook a meal the entire family could eat and enjoy.

This book contains valuable information!
I found this book to be filled with very useful and valuable information about an aspect of my health that I hadn't really thought about, namely how "healthy" bacteria impact our health. I think most people automatically think that bacteria are "bad." In fact, "good" bacteria are as essential for our health as vitamins and minerals, maybe more so. Although this book is filled with scientific ...

From this point he began to notice the relationships between vitamin-mineral deficiencies, food ...
Stevia Rebaudiana : Natures Sweet Secret

All you want and need to know about Stevia
I have done extensive research on the history and uses of Stevia. The most common roadblocks I have come across are 1. Scare tactics by artificial sweetner companies that warn of the *dangers* of this natural alternative 2. Companies that are selling Stevia themselves that write glowing fluff that, although may be true, don't provide any facts about what Stevia is or where it's history lies. ...

Goldmine! I'm very picky, and love this little book.
Well, first off, I'm prediabetic and have a sensitive system so I don't think I would have searched for stevia unless I had to. My instincts are to seek out 100% natural herbal sweeteners over the chemicals that are otherwised pushed on us. I've thumbed through stevia (and general diabetic-friendly) recipe books in book stores and have been disappointed in the recipes that mostly try to ...

The book led me to begin experimenting with Niacin and the results so far have been ...

Better detailed explanations than most
This is one of the better books on detoxification. Most others give various recipes and regimens to accomplish some form of detoxification without providing sufficient background information to understand how it is supposed to work and why. The author of this book starts with why you should detoxify, the five principles of balanced health, and the seven most important steps. People are much ...

Best of alternative medicine field
As a result of reading this book, previously published as The Patient's Guide to Natural Healing, our family has resolved a lot of health issues. (We also started as patients at the author's medical practice, The Tahoma Clinic, near Seattle.) It turns out our whole family has food allergies (gluten+dairy). My biggest benefits have been energy, weight loss and many little symptoms going away: ...

Brilliant! A must-read book!
Cancer. This is quite possibly the most frightful, troubling and dreaded word in our language. And for good cause. Cancer kills and maims and, truth be known, the current, "accepted" reatments---chemo and radiation--- haven't done much for survival. The Cancer Handbook: What's Really Working discusses the possible causes of cancer: family history, contraceptives, environment, drugs, stress ...

Namely we have followed the supplement suggestions in the book, avoided the chemicals mentioned , and ...

I've read a few books on nutrition as it relates to health but few compare with this one. In "Our Children's Health" author Bonnie Minsky details the "nutritional crisis" of America's children. She does an excellent job of discussing allergies, food intolerances, asthma, immune system dysfunction, ADD and other learning and behavior disorders, autism spectrum disorders, vaccines, osteoporosis, ...
