The way of Qigong
A great book. Writen simply and clearly to understand the life from the jin and yang phylosophie that is far from being only black and white. The excercises in the book are easy to follow. Shipping was fast as well.
Healing Mantras: Using Sound Affirmations for Personal Power, Creativity, and Healing

The world is sound -
This book offers a wonderful view into the world of using sound to heal the body, mind, and soul. It provides an excellent foundation for understanding the power of mantras. When I purchased this book (about four years ago), I had a lot of problems with my eyes. I used to get ulcers on my cornea, and no doctors were able to explain why this happened. I discovered a mantra in this book, ...

Excellent
This is one of the best books, I found on this subject. I use it more like a reference and a diary in my day to day life rather than a book. Its filled with lots of useful and simple information which can change your life for good. Considering the prize, its an excellent investment. There are plenty of reviews about the details of this book. Therefore I will just say that if you are considering a ...

Accessible, clear, effective, and useful power tools
I came across this book because of my growing interest in chakra balancing and energy-based therapies. A friend had recently taught me some simple mudras, and I'd experienced a significant positive change in 3 weeks' time from using them. I was interested in learning more, especially with a focus on healing. Most appreciated: accessible, simple and visually straightforward layout. Clear ...

Signs, Signs, Everywhere a Sign
I had the most amazing breakthrough while reading Denise Linn's book The Secret Language of Signs. I didn't realize how much and how often Spirit was trying to communicate with me before I started reading this book. Now I watch for signs in my body, my surroundings, music, conversations, nature, and other people. In fact, there is hardly a time when the Universe is not speaking! I got a ...

Change Your Mind About Money!
As a therapist and seminar leader on money issues, I love their "Are You A Money Drunk?" quizzes. They help explain and re-orient the underlying attitudes and beliefs that fuel a bad relationship with money. The book offers a foundation of healing for people who think they cannot control their spending, and are using money as a drug.
Depression-Free, Naturally: 7 Weeks to Eliminating Anxiety, Despair, Fatigue, and Anger from Your Life

This book changed my life
What she says in this book works. That all I'm saying. It has worked for me personally, and has worked for two other people that I know, helping them feel better just by doing the mega-doses of Omega 3. You don't have to buy all the expensive vitamins that she sells in her propietary doses. You can approximate them and buy them much cheaper elsewhere.

Not usually into psychology/self-help
I went through a phase of that when I was teen and never really recovered, but this book is different. I don't know if the term depth psychology applies, but it certainly brings the concept to mind. The author works in Jungian concepts of archetype and shadow and seems to assume familiarity with them. Like many books it has a number of examples, but I found them more detailed and better ...
The Path of Practice: A Woman's Book of Ayurvedic Healing

Bri Maya Tiwari

The Path of Practice
I wish I could read this book aloud to cancer sufferers. Written as part memoir, part how-to guide, The Path of Practice is a conversational, self-described "course in healing and in living." Bri Maya maintains that "all pain is a reminder that we have strayed from the natural rhythms of life," and this book acts as a guiding light to bring us back. My fascination with The Path of Practice took ...

Gets to the essence. . .
Barefoot on Holy Ground is a book that helps us remember what we already know and glean new pearls of wisdom that can help us walk our personal path with courage, discernment, and trust. It doesn't matter how "far along the path" you feel you are, or even if you have just taken the first step, this book offers signposts, resting places, and encouragements (but no shortcuts!) that can help further ...

Quick Read - Delightful Insights
After finishing the book in two days (including taking notes), I found it a useful tool in dealing with everyday pains and stress. Although the focus of it is on negativity, it is not just for those who are depressed. Everyone experiences negative thoughts and the book just helps you use them in a positive way. The case studies are nice examples of her explanations and the charts, stories, and ...

This Book Touched Me!
This book truly opened my eyes and helped me begin my spiritual path. I also read through it first and then went back and slowly read it again and did the practices. It so enchanted me I tracked down the meditation tapes that go with it and have LOVED them. Alma Daniel has a loving, sweet enrgy and it shows in every word of this book. THANK YOU! Kathy

It's where it's at - Holistic Bible
I loved this book. I've been a fan of Anne Wilson Shaef since "Women's Reality". What a remarkable mind - and spirit. Her views of living in process parallel some of Zen teachings of being in the "now" - or fully present in the moment. The examples and quotes from other people feel as if you can hear the diversity of the individuals - and the respect for that diversity. The sense of ...

A book to buy for EVERYONE you know...
I was skeptical, but this book is great. Easy to read and understand, and well thought out. I am recommending my friends and family get this book because everyone has 20 minutes to spare. I think this book will help to change my life for the better.

Truer meanings of dreams
"Messages have been pouring into you from the "dream lodge," now you'll need to take notice of them and decipher their meanings. There are slews of dream books out there but this one seems to be the most complete and understanding of them all. It's a must have guide for spiritual advancements to higher spiritual levels."
Soul Psychology: How to Clear Negative Emotions and Spiritualize Your Life

A truly life-enhancing book
I hate to dispute the opinion of another, but I wonder if our friend below has actually read any of this book other than the blurb? Judging by his comments, I have to say I very much doubt it. 'Soul Psychology' is an extraordinary book that takes a look at psychology within the context of the mind and soul as opposed to just the mind and personality. The result is an inspiring, life-enhancing ...

Brooke Medicine Eagle

TEACHINGS FROM ONE OF OUR BEST
It is rather amusing to read the negative reviews of Brook's work. The majority of them are written by people with a fairly strong racist agenda - either racial purists who believe that anyone with Native blood should not teach non-Natives or people who believe that Native teachers should only teach the reader's expectations of Native shamanism. Brooke has never fit into the restrictive roles of ...

Amazing! A profound work.

At long last .
This is a wonderful book that sets the stage for Christianity to open to and integrate natural non dogmatic all-one-God perspectives. We CAN live together as one people and have one God expressed in many different ways. I see it as the begininng of a whole new and much healthier and respected Christian church.
