Great book
The book was actually shipped to me in 2 days. When I received it I read it right away and read it the rest of the night. I liked it a lot and I recommend it to people who are fans or may not be a fan. You should like it as much as I did.

Ree Drummond

Ree Drummond sticks to her characteristic mix of wry humor and butter by the pound.
If you've followed her blog as I have, you'll be pleased to find that author Ree Drummond sticks to her characteristic mix of wry humor and butter by the pound. I'm glad. It's been working for her. In The Pioneer Woman Cooks, her cookbook slash photographic memoir, Ree brings to life the story of her city upbringing with her farm woman reality, currently wrangling four kids and a husband on a ...

loving this!
I bought this book after seeing Tal on Oprah. I have been a vegetarian for over 15 years but have only been vegan for one year. I am also married to a meat eater and he loves the finished products. He is so happy with the meals that he doesn't get his meat for dinner. However, sometimes i have to google words in the lists because I am not fluent in unusual vegetables. This is definately ...

Well written and balanced
This is not quite as good as the first but still excellent. The poor ratings for this book are certainly not warranted. The fact that this book has stirred so much emotion and outrage is a good enough reason why you should read it. Agree with the material or not, this is one of the most thought provoking books of the year and should not be skipped.

A Hero For Our Generation
Every generation needs their heros, and Sully Sullenberger is a hero in every sense of the word. His life and morals are to be admired and are rare in this country. I enjoyed this uplifting book and have passed it around for friends to read. My mother purchased this book for my brother who enjoys flying. This book is uplifting and a joy to read.

Not Your Same old History Book
Bruce Feiler gives us a fascinating read about America's History and how much of it relates to Moses. America's Prophet is an easy and enjoyable read from a unique perspective. The intertwining relationship that our country really has with the prophet Moses is a subject I am surprised hasn't been covered in depth before. As usual Bruce Feiler is detailed yet simplistic in his approach and ...

Finally available, the legendary stage magic books for the CIA
Stage magician John Mulholland wrote this pair of manuals for the CIA in the early 1950s. All copies were believed to have been destroyed, though stories of the sleight of hand and secret communication documents have carried down through the decades. One copy of each manual were discovered though, and now declassified, appear here in print. It's an interesting book for both the stage magic and ...

Wonderful
What an amazing story! I can't remember the last time I read such a gripping work of non-fiction, if ever; I tore through this book yesterday afternoon/evening despite having other things that I should have been doing, and came away thoroughly satisfied. Even before I read the book, I was hooked by the premise: a Malawian boy, living in the midst of poverty and famine and with limited educational ...

Great book
This is a wonderful book! So is the Dangerous Book for Boys. We bought these books for the grandkids, the kids, and ourselves. I wish I'd had a book like this when I was a kid. I was always a tomboy growing up and loved adventure. Any girl who loves adventure and knows she can be anything she wants to be in life (or who needs to know that) would greatly benefit from the Daring Book for Girls.

Loads of Fun!
I bought this book for my 9 year old cousin's birthday gift. This is a kid who can rattle off all the Yankees starters and clings to his Nintendo DS like it's the only thing keeping him alive. He unwrapped it and tossed it aside. "Fail", I sighed to myself. A few hours later when the party had calmed down he started flipping throgh it. "Whoa, invisible ink!" were the first words out of his mouth. ...

I was quite happy with this recipe book. The recipes are simple enough to seem do-able but complex enough to offer flavors that are not available in the supermarket.

Beautiful journal with one small flaw
Having had the experience of being a nurse to quite a few children who were not meant to stay in this world very long drove me to pick this title even though I knew it would be a very tough read. Notes Left Behind takes the reader through the stages of grief that accompany such a grave diagnosis as pediatric brain cancer and is a sober reminder that nothing in life is to be taken for granted. ...
