Beyond Pleased!!
As a follower of The Pioneer Woman, I eagerly awaited the arrival of the cookbook that I purchased. I was not disappointed! I loved that she used her step by step pictorial instructions for the recipes as she does on her blog. I also loved the beautifully illustrated pages about her family life. Again, I am more than pleased with the book.

Worth every penny....Amazing recipes!!!
The recipes in this book are fabulous. I have not made them all yet but because of this book, cooking is fun again. I have been making Mexican food for years but never in the authentic fashion that is easily laid out in these recipes. The recipes in this book have breathed life back into my cooking again. I get bored pretty easily with cookbooks but this one is special to me. I have had several ...

loving this!
I bought this book after seeing Tal on Oprah. I have been a vegetarian for over 15 years but have only been vegan for one year. I am also married to a meat eater and he loves the finished products. He is so happy with the meals that he doesn't get his meat for dinner. However, sometimes i have to google words in the lists because I am not fluent in unusual vegetables. This is definately ...

Used Most Often
I'm new to pressure cooking, so I bought three cookbooks when I bought my cooker. While all have good recipes, I have found myself turning most often to this one. The first dish was the Hungarian Goulash. Just perfection! And so easy! If you're going to be serious about pressure cooking (and when it's 90 degrees outside as it was for me today, who wouldn't be?), you will probably want to ...

No Kidding!
I purchased "The Ultimate Ice Cream Book" due to the reviews and WOW - did the 5 star reviewers get it right! The recipes are super easy to follow and ALL of them look so yummy! I just made the green tea ice cream and whoa Nelly - it is seriously the best green tea ice cream that I've ever tasted. This might be a really bad purchase if you don't have any self restraint pertaining to the ...

Short-Cut Vegan: Great Taste in No Time
I've long been a fan of Lorna Sass' work. When she started publishing her cookbooks, "vegan" was still considered a fairly odd cooking style, so all the book titles used the word "vegetarian." When I first discovered "Lorna Sass' Complete Vegetarian Kitchen" was totally vegan, I snapped up a copy, and it's become a tried and true reference at our house. We've learned through experience that her ...

Great new edition -- always a wonderful book, now much improved!
Glancing through the revised paperback, I see that Ms. Sass has cut down the fat in the recipes and added some new techniques for guaranteeing success. If you are still afraid of pressure cookers, get over it! The newly designed cookers are really safe and easy to use. All these terrific reviews have it right: the pressure cooker is a great way to cook great meals really fast. I'm glad ...

Excellent Book
Excellent book! I highly recommend this book. I feel so much healthier, and happier. This book explains in detail all the issues around why we should and should not be on a raw food diet. The recipies are excellent. My husband and 14 year old son have been on a raw food diet for the last two weeks and do not even know it! The recipes are so good, they have not caught on to the fact that ...

Many stained pages...
Anyone can tell which cookbooks I love most just by looking at my cookbook shelves. Broken spines and cockeyed pages peeking out in every direction clearly show which ones I prefer to spend time with in the kitchen. This is definitely one of them. Almost every page is stained and dog-eared, and one recipe in here (David's Dreambars) has become so much of a Christmas tradition that I'd probably be ...

More Than Just Recipes
This book is a window onto a lifestyle. Recipes, yes, wonderfully creative, mouth-watering recipes, but I picked up this book and didn't put it down again until I had read it right through! How often do you do that with a cook book? I love the personalities involved in this little gem of a restaurant, the book leads us through the day in a way that gives us intimate portraits of everyone ...

Baking with Julia
Baking with Julia is a great reference book with lots of pictures and recipes. It is very informative and makes you want to start baking right away! I received this book in only a few days. It was in great condition and the price was less than half of what I found it at the book store! I would purchase other books from this vendor.
