Still Good after all these years
I used this from 1993 until 1999. Then got out of the habit of using it for 11 years til now (2010). It has gotten twice as thick as before, lol! But still very useful & small, lean & mean as another reviewer said. I use a iTouch with Lexidrugs on it, if I need more detail (adverse reactions & percentages, etc. for more unusual drugs like infliximab, & such). CONS: 1. needs a plastic ...

A reflection on the effect of new technologies on higher learning
The "Digital Age" that we live in has been the subject of many (too many?) books, articles, essays and blogs in recent times. Everyone who has not lived in a cave in the last few years realizes that the pace of technological advancement is increasing, and many of the traditional forms of communicating, working and shopping are continuously being redefined. Despite all of this, the role and the ...

Experience vs Hypothesis
This is the first book of I have read in which Einstein wrote directly rather than the many reiterations of his works. Sidelights on Relativity is a two part book of lectures in which he gave in 1920 and 1921. The first titled "Ether and the Theory of Relativity." Einstein explores the concepts given by Newton, Maxwell and Lorentz of the ether arguing the universe is not mechanical in nature. ...

If anyone tries to claim this book is full of hogwash, is full of it themselves. Not only does David Barton give thousands of quotes; from our many founding fathers, law writers of that time, judges of that time, language in state drafts, personal letters, etc, etc, he also gives you such a complete list of where everything came from, and TELLS YOU to look it up yourself! He went directly to ...

Don't Waste Your Money on Other Prep Courses!
This is the first time I've ever taken the time to write a review for a product, but I couldn't not say something about the quality of the PowerScore books. Let me say, I started preparing for the February 2010 LSAT in December 2009, and I did so by taking a $1300 Kaplan prep course. I scored a 148 on my diagnostic, and my scores with Kaplan never rose above a 153. I often felt as though their ...
