Tears in the Darkness: The Story of the Bataan Death March and Its Aftermath
Elizabeth M. Norman
an important story, well told, not often heard....
A really good, moving, touching story that is not often heard. While many people have heard of the Bataan death march, I doubt too many people really know what went on. I have read dozens of books about WWII, but this is the first to focus soley on the war in the pacific. If you like history, and human interest, this is great.
Tears of the Moon (Irish Trilogy, Book 2)
thank you for creating it on kindle, finally
I heart all of the books from this series greatly, but this is one of my complete favs. Thank you for finale putting this one on kindle, it was weird that you had the other 2 but not this one, so again, thank you kindle, finale. Indeed.
Crocodile Tears (Alex Rider, No. 8)
Best in the series so far
This book is perhaps Alex Rider's most exciting adventure yet as he tackles a mad charity worker, some angry crocs, an African tribe and a selfish journalist. The thing that I love most about this series is that it's actually realistic. Alex doesn't always have all the answers to everything, he doesn't escape from every situation completely unscathed, he isn't fearless. He has real humanizing, ...
Tears of the Giraffe (No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency, Book 2)
Alexander McCall Smith
A great quick read
I love these stories. They are warm-hearted, but intriguing. They are good to read for when you only have one day to indulge in a book. I ended up checking it out from the library instead of purchasing it. The time:$ value is too low.

My Father's Tears: And Other Stories
Writing Of Those Reflections Which Come When A Long Life Dwindles
If The Afterlife (the mid-1990s collection which was my introduction to him) was John Updike's thesis on old age, then My Father's Tears is his dissertation. While themes of autobiography, old age, of looking back at youth and the times and places of its setting (with either sentiment or anguished hyper-comprehension) punctuate these stories, I found them both meaningful and less dismal than ...
Cry Silent Tears: The Heartbreaking Survival Story of a Small Mute Boy Who Overcame Unbearable Suffering and ...
very sad story
Wow..This book was so so sad. I cant believe that this poor child had to go through life like this, and knowing not one person would listen or take the time to help him just kills me. My heart goes out to this poor boy. I couldnt put the book down. I wanted to know he got out from under his mothers abuse, and that he found happiness.
AWESOME BOOK FOR ALL AGES
This book was loaned to me when I was thick in the middle of the worst grief I have ever felt. How or why it comforted me is something I cannot explain; but, I was so soothed by its message that I bought 2 for my "library"...one to keep when my family or I need its message; and, one to loan out as was done to me - pass on the message, normalize the stages of grief, give support when it is needed ...
Tears Of A Tiger
Sharon M. Draper

Tear Down This Myth: How the Reagan Legacy Has Distorted Our Politics and Haunts Our Future
Exposing Ronald Reagen....
A very good read and well documented book exposing Ronald Reagan for what he was and not what people think he was all about.
Silent Tears: A Journey Of Hope In A Chinese Orphanage
A passion for Chinese orphans
Ms. Bratt's book, Silent Tears: A Journey of Hope in a Chinese Orphanage, tells of realizing her dream of volunteering in a Chinese orphanage. As she decribes her struggles... physical and emotional, the reader can experience what she has described. It's an easy book to read and one that flows very well. As she describes each child, you have the same hope that she had in helping him or her. You ...
Day of Tears
Day of Tears
The Day of Tears takes place in Savannah, Georgia during the Weeping Time. It was the biggest slave auction in United States history. Families, friends, love-ones, and many more were separated during this time in history. Pierce Butler was a card gambler and owed so many people so much money that he had to sell most of his slaves, a house in Philadalphia, and much more. The rain at the time ...
Tears of the Desert: A Memoir of Survival in Darfur (Random House Reader's Circle)
If you want to read a book in re: Darfur Genocide-> Read this one.
1. I recently read another book on the Darfur genocide (Devil Came on Horseback) and was so frustrated with that book that I decided to read another book on the same subject. 2. This book is a radical departure from the above tome in so many respects: it's personal, it is very well written, it actually has a story (beginning--> end), one learns various aspects about the culture, and as ...
Tears of God
Fr. Benedict Groeschel
Tears of God by Father Benedict Groeschel
This is a wonderful book (as far as I've read). I wish I could read it now, but cannot seem to comprehend at this point what I have read. My sister Kathy has been missing since April 16th, and they have charged the man she was last seen with in Texas with Capital murder. He will not tell us where she is. This book is the best book to have right now...and this is a real catastrophe for me and ...
Knitting Without Tears: Basic Techniques and Easy-to-Follow Directions for Garments to Fit All Sizes
As Good as It Gets
I am a serious knitter, but I am not an advanced knitter. Besides my lack of skill and experience, I am extremely ADD. So, this book is better than I expected, it is insightful and funny. It shows diagrams and written instructions for most practical stitches such as the different kinds of cast on stitches. So, if you are like me and can just knit and purl and have at least average intelligence ...

Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said
Philip K. Dick
Philip Dick, unforgettable
I'll be short. Each novel by Philip Dick is amazing to me. I just keep looking for other books by him. This one has been the last one I've read. I'm already looking for others. I really recommend it, and the author also.
Tears of Autumn: A Paul Christopher Novel (Paul Christopher Novels)
Serious People Believe This Nails the JFK Assassination for Real
As a recovering spy who went on to champion Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), whose mantra is "the truth at any cost reduces all other costs," I read this book long ago, found it very creidble (I was in Viet-Nam from 1963-1967 and historically have always been morally and intellectually ashamed of how CIA--not JFK--allowed and encouraged the internal assassination of Ngo Dinh Diem, the Catholic ...
Stone of Tears (The Sword of Truth #2)
this is the 2nd book of Terry Goodkind I have read and I must say it is very good reading. I have ordered the next one in the series and I'm hoping to see more like the 2 already read.
A Tear at the Edge of Creation: A Radical New Vision for Life in an Imperfect Universe
General and science libraries will relish this
Physicist Marcelo Gleiser provides a fine survey of cutting edge science based on his discovers that led him to a new understanding of the nature of humanity. All life - intelligence in particular - is a precious accident, and our presence here has no meaning outside of itself, though it does have meaning... this is the concept in A TEAR AT THE EDGE OF CREATION: A RADICAL NEW VISION FOR LIFE IN ...
