Where's the Poop?34 reviews
Julie Markes, Susan Kathleen Hartung

HarperFestival, 2004

Love it!
Our 2 1/2 yr old LOVES finding the poop in the book. She will ask me where the poop is and go through each flap saying 'that's not it'. When she finds it she gets excited and yells 'there's the poop!'. Kind of a gross book, but it has really helped her with potty training. Would definitely recommend and plan to use on our baby girl when she arrives and is ready to potty train.

My Big Boy Potty48 reviews
Joanna Cole

HarperCollins, 2000

The Best Thing About This Book? It WORKS!!!
I was one of those Moms who felt as though her child would never be potty trained! My 3-and-a-half year-old son just did not seem inclined to do it. We offered gifts and party incentives...nothing doing! He did like to pee in the "big potty" from time to time but that was about it. I even bought him a potty of his own. Every day I said, "Hey...let's try to poop on the potty today" and every ...

A Potty for Me!: A Lift-the-Flap Instruction Manual75 reviews

Little Simon, 2004

My daughter's favorite potty book
This is my daughter's favorite potty book. Of course, she's a huge fan of the other "Lift-the-Flap" books, so I have to say I'm not terribly surprised. However, it's also one of the books that I find it the most enjoyable to read of all her potty books also, which is great when you're reading it at least once a day. I do like the fact that the book hits upon the idea that learning to go potty ...

the potty train is a winner
our two year old daughter loves the potty train. she was showing all the signs of being ready for the potty but this was the book that turned theory into practice. she loves to sit on her potty with the book in her lap and a big "choo choo" as things started to happen. a wonderful book, very engaging for small children. our six year old even liked it, especially the last page (and i aint going to ...

Toilet Training in Less Than A Day371 reviews
Nathan Azrin

Pocket, 1989

It works!
I used this book to potty-train my kids back in the late 1970's and both of them were trained in one day. It's an intensive day of focused training, but they understood the concept before the end of the day. They were both about 22 months old at the time of training.

Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left, From Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning343 reviews
Jonah Goldberg

Doubleday, 2008

A Book for the Intellectually Honest Seeking Truth About American History
It is very unfortunate that people use the review process to attack a book which they are very unlikely to have read. It is always fascinating that the very same people who so often lecture to all of us about "tolerance" are the least so. It is particularly bothersome that Amazon chose to use one short, positive review and one very lengthy negative review. Despite some of the reviews, Mr. ...

Caillou: Potty Time (Hand in Hand series)22 reviews
Joceline Sanschagrin

Chouette Publishing, 2008

Sturdy pages! Short story.
We love this book for our 2 year old, who loves Caillou. The illustrations are a bit different from the PBS series, but still recognizable. The story is very short and some of the conversation seems awkward. But still gets the point across.

The No-Cry Potty Training Solution: Gentle Ways to Help Your Child Say Good-Bye to Diapers (Pantley)25 reviews
Elizabeth Pantley

McGraw-Hill, 2006

Potty Training Made Easy
Pantley is one of those amazing parenting book writers whose primary focus is one of compassion. In The No-Cry Potty Training Solution, she talk about listening to your children's body language and reading the cues. As a new parent, I found her book extremely helpful when it came to potty training my child. The book is full of tips and tricks that can help parents in the early days of potty ...

Big Girls Use the Potty!21 reviews
DK Publishing

DK Preschool, 2005

Great book for potty training!
I bought this book when my daughter was first interested in the potty (about a month ago - she was 20 months). We have read it quite a few times and she likes seeing the real pictures of the little girl using the potty. She has since started using the potty every night before bed and usually in the morning too. This book is nice because it doesn't have cartoon pictures, it is real life stuff and ...

Toilet Training for Individuals with Autism or Other Developmental Issues, 2nd Edition18 reviews
Maria Wheeler

Future Horizons, 2007

A difficult task made easier!
I am so thankful that I chose this book over others that deal with toilet training. I did not realize how teaching someone on the spectrum how to use the potty is very different in many ways, than someone who's not. This book deals with those issues. It brings to light some very important routines and activities to follow. Especially for someone who is new to the world of Autism, this is a ...

Melissa Torres, A&J Studios

Success!
We were having a difficult ime with my grand daughter being willing to use the potty each time. She loves Dora so when I saw this book I bought it for her. The only time she can read it is if she is on the potty and she hasn't had an accident since.

Potty Train Your Child in Just One Day: Proven Secrets of the Potty Pro [toilet training]77 reviews
Teri Crane

Fireside, 2006

This Dad's struggle is finally OVER!!!
Men's Health magazine wrote a 3 page article on this book in their Sept. '08 issue. I was so desperate to finally try a book that really worked! Too many of the potty training books out on the market today all rehash the same "old" tired toilet training tips. Teri Crane's book is unique in its ideas and a great read. Her secret is to throw a potty party. And if you think about it--what child ...

It Hurts When I Poop!: A Story for Children Who Are Scared to Use the Potty15 reviews
Howard J., M.D. Bennett

Magination Press, 2007

Truly a Godsend...Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
I wish I would have had this book a few years ago for our middle child, he too had "poop" issues. My friends could not even begin to understand the torment we went through weekly knowing that our son and now our youngest daughter - needed to poop. It was a week long battle of "bumping" as we called it (holding it in), dirty underwear, screaming fits, suppositories, yelling, bribing, etc... ...
