Absolutely EXQUISITE!
I cannot begin to say how long I have waited for this FOURTH book (having read the others!) and it was WELL WORTH THE WAIT! The writing flows, and is darn near poetic! Picturesque and wonderful as a story continues and unfolds pages after page. I read it in 4 days. As usual Koontz never disappoints! Should you buy it? OF COURSE! Koontz fans will like it, Odd fans will LOVE it! THANK ...

How to Read War and Peace, and Enjoy It Completely
War and Peace is, without question, the greatest historical novel ever written. However, if you carry a copy of War and Peace with you anywhere, you will be subjected to ridicule of many varieties. This, of course, says more about the critics than the reader. It tells us first that most people have largely lived their lives deprived of reading one of the most "need to read" books in Western ...

L.A. Does It Again!!
All of L.A. Banks' Huntress series is exciting, but ... The Shadows was so action-packed that I could not put it down at all!!! In fact, I was so engrossed in what I was reading that I was searching for more pages at the end of the book! My suggestion is to read the whole series, but in case you have already... look forward to an excellent read in The Shadows!!

In the previous volume, the necromancer Leso Varen traps Miranda and gives her to the Dasati Deathpriests. The boys are captured by Salmater troops. Grafton Is Back!
I loved this newest tale in the Kinsey Millhone series. Like a lot of readers, I had begun to think Sue Grafton had run her course and couldn't come up with anything exciting and new. Trespass was a great read. I couldn't put it down. I sincerely hope the rest of the alphabet keeps pace.

As with summer holidays, the book ends too quickly but will continue to be just as memorable as the years go by.
When the Penderwick family's summer holiday plans are changed, the widowed Mr. Penderwick decides to take his four young daughters --- ages 4 through 12 --- to a cottage in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts. Instead, though, they find themselves on a beautiful grand estate called Arundel. For the close sisters, Arundel gives them a realm of possibility and each their own treasure-trove of ...

Such down to earth, heartwarming comedy
Fannie Flagg's "Can't Wait to Get to Heaven" was such a pleasure to read! It was uplifting (to say the least) and very amusing. Elner Shimfissle is so simplistic in her ways, but very wise and endearing. This is a must read for anybody wanting to be uplifted. You will find yourself immersed in the Elmwood Springs community anticipating what will happen next. It is refreshing to see the world ...

Thoroughly enjoy the Artemis Fowl audio books
I recommend these audio books. This particular one (Time Paradox) is read by a different narrator, than the others, but he has done a good job as well.

Try Sullivan instead
This book is poor. Try Michael Sullivan's books instead. This book doesn't show you how to do the majority of the problems. I'm mostly flipping through the pages, trying to find the techniques, formulas, etc... but they are not there. I need this book for class (homework), but I'm using Sullivan's books to actually learn the material. If you have to use this book (like me), don't get discouraged. ...

Eloquently written with careful word choice and countless metaphors. One cannot appreciate the civil rights movement and mourne its current state until they read this book.

A Great Book For Its Purpose
I am currently a senior in High School, and I am in Advanced Placement Calculus. The textbook we use is the next edition of this text, but the textbooks are pratically identical, so i decided to comment here. This text is designed to be an introductary text. Introductary texts teach you concepts that you should be able to understand how to use. A lot of these concepts are too advanced to be ...

Hi Fred, nice to meet you.
This book is about a human/mermaid hybrid named Fredrika Bimm, but she likes to be called Fred. She works for the New England Aquarium and meets a new employee that is there to study the water in the Boston harbor and they (along with the Prince of the Black Sea) discover that the water is being polluted by very high levels of human waste. It's up to the three of them to find out where the mess ...
