Handy gadget!
This item is just what I've been looking for! It will be great when traveling so I can actually be in some of my pictures in far away places. The tripod will also be a help when using the zoom on my camera to avoid blurred pictures. It is small enough to be easy to carry.

Very Good Product
I've very impressed with the QuikPod DSLR. I have a fairly heavy Nikon D80 with a zoom lens and there's no problem with the weight. While I will certainly try self portraits, I think this will come in very handy at many of the museums and historical sites I visit frequently. I'm already thinking of some very creative ways to use this device!

Why didn't I think of this!
I'm really happy with this little tripod. I saw it listed under a "cool travel gadgets" list and ordered one. It works great as a hand held, the little add on tripod legs are handy, I was tickled that a bag was included. I prefer taking pictures with a tripod, but when flying my good one is just to big to mess with. This baby fits in my briefcase. If you're a shutter bug I highly recommend ...
