If I could rate this product less than one star I would!!! I received this product as a gift. The screen burned out within several months. I sent it back to the company and they replaced it. Now the replacement has burned out as well. The response from the company representative , Roger Maddron Jr, was "We've found that users who run their units 24/7, will encounter backlight issues ...

originally dissapointed / happy now
I was originally dissapointed with this item after waiting several weeks for it to get in stock then recieving it and finding out the original one recieved was defective and saw all SD cards as "write protected" however I must commend amazon.com for standing behind thier items! I informed them of the problem and they shipped me out a replacement even before I had shipped the defective one back ...

If you have purchased the photoshare digital picture frame it would be wise to also purchase the carry case. We now use this exclusively and have pretty much put the frame back in the box. The case allows you to access all of the switches and plugs without having to take the unit out of the case. It protects the unit and yet can be opened and stands alone thus substituting for the frame.

This case is very nice, I like it a lot. The PhotoShare is a completely useless piece of junk with it's 10 minute battery life, but this case for it is great.

FLIP THE BATTERY TO INSTALL
Flip the battery over. You must match the indentations so the battery fits perfectly. Once matched, the battery drops in place. The battery has a gap/indentation, this gap must fit next to the frame's connector. Don't worry, the cables will be long enough and will not be crushed. It is like a puzzle. Don't try to put it in in the obvious way. The manufacturer should have put a diagram.
