Great camera
This camera works great. After reading other reviews, I bought one and now I am regretting not buying more. I bought it last week at $120, now it is over $150, what is up with that? I am going to buy 3 more, but I might wait to see if the price goes down a little. Great picture day and night, decent mount and decent construction. I would recommend this camera to my friends.

Good value and small cable = good
I was surprised how thin the cable is, but it's been laying out in the cold for a month now with no problems. It also comes with two M-M BNC connectors. Very good value. I'm going to bury, so hopefully I get a few years out of it.

S-Video works BOTH directions (play or record)
This cable works fine for my Sony DCR-DVD403 Handycam. I can play and record in S-Video with this cable. The key is to change the setting in the camera so that it uses S-Video instead of the default composite video connection. I found this in my Handycam's user manual. It works exactly as it should. Perhaps this is not the case for all Sony Handycams.

I purchased this to replace an older Canon underwater camera (film type). I am very impressed with the quality of the camera. I've taken a few underwater pictures in the swimming pool as well as a few above water...they look great. Will give it a real workout next Spring in the Bahamas. Great Product for the Price.
This is a great product for the price you are paying. You need to be sure to purchase an extension for the camera because the cord it does bring is very short. It works pretty well during the day, although at times if the sun is towards it the image appears off color. It does not work well for night time. The image on the screen is completely black, and any car head lights appear distorted.
