When i bought this product, i got Silver, i like silver and eight hours means less tapes to buy, i always tape LP which is about 5 hours, works for me.

Sony tape is not the cheapest around, but why worry about capturing once-in-a-lifetime memories using less expensive brands. Sony tape holds up well with repeated recording. Picture quality is sharp and color is great when viewed on 32" LCD television. I would not buy anything else.

It holds good information and it is a really good price. This product is perfect for capturing wonderful moments of childhood on easy to store tapes. The only thing that I didn't like was that before I ordered it, it didn't tell me how much time it held. But now I know that it holds plenty of good quality film. I love it!!

I've been using Panasonic tapes pretty much exclusively since I bought my miniDV camcorder 5 years ago and have never had any problems. I purchased these tapes to tape my Mom's soaps for her while she's at work, they work at great for that-my only draw back is I have to use the SP speed instead of SLP if I use SLP the tape is a mess.

I bought this with my camera and I guess I didnt realize I could get 3 sony tapes at walmart for the same price. My bad. But I would recommend you get the sony ones locally versus spending $14 on one tape.
