Great Improvement for Vista
I installed this in a Compaq with Windows Vista that originally had 1 Gig of RAM. The memory is awesome, but as with many computers, the installation was slightly cramped. Once installed, all of the memory registered immediately, and the changes have only been positive. I am very pleased with this product.

Good in HP Pavilion Laptop
I went from 512MB to 1GB with this upgrade. The installation was easy. The computer recognized the memory when I first booted up. No problems so far. This was a very cheap upgrade for my laptop and the performance improvement is significant.

Great Deal - Works Perfectly with Gateway MX 8739 Vista Laptop
Purchased this product to upgrade my Vista laptop that I purchased in October 2007 (it's a Gateway MX 8739 sold in retail outlets like Best Buy) and the memory worked perfectly. No problems installing - just unscrew the memory bay cover, pop out the old memory, and slid the new memory in - and Vista had no troubles recognizing the new memory.
