This HD drive works very well. The only problem I have that it requires more power than normal USB port can supply. So I have to use two of my USB ports on my MacBookPro. One port is used to supply power other to connect to USB. I tried to use only one USB port, but drive would mount and then dismount. It was unworkable. After LaCie tech support explained power problem everything works fine.

I do not understand actual throughput. However, the speed of the Internet download is the same as the cable connection. Moreover, it is the same performance in living room and the bedroom. If you wont wireless adaptor, I recommend this wireless adaper.

I have a Toshiba Portege M200, this pen does not work with it. I suspect this is a stylus for a Toshiba PDA; however it does not work with the M200 (and I would therefore assume it does not work with any other Toshiba tablet with the Wacom digitizer).
