Although the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme may be the best air cooled heatsink, the NH-U12P surpasses it many areas. Quiet Fan, Great Warranty!
I replaced a Silverstone fan with this unit. It's VERY quiet, and it increased air flow enough to drop the motherboard temp by 20 degrees! Only two issues: Which cable is which (low noise vs very low noise)? [I left off the adapter cables so that the unit can reach its max rpm when needed. Other is the color....oh well, you can't have everything!
