Wireless Where No Wireless Was Before
Before using this adapter, I had spotty, at best, signal at our lake house. After installing the Hawking HWU8DD Hi-Gain USB Wireless-G Dish Adapter (which was a piece of cake) I have been able to access the internet with a strong and reliable signal. Can't recommend this product enough. Two of my neighbors have also purchased and are equally pleased.

Does the job
I had an Apple Airport Extreme for my Macbook that cost me $179. Why, I don't know. After a little more than year, just outside the warranty, of course (!), it mysteriously went AWOL on me. I was going to buy another one but, even though I like Apple computers, their peripherals are expensive. So, I sprung a mere $50 for this Linksys. Set-up was simple. Works beautifully. I couldn't figure ...

easy setup
I was wanting to be able to install the network without using the CD. It seems like the CDs always make you install something that comes with spyware or virusware. After plugging in the Access Point to my network and not being able to find it with my laptop wireless NIC, I relented and used the CD. No problems at all. I was setup in 2 minutes. No programs installed on my laptop, just a simple ...

Linksys Wireless-G expander - WRE54G
I would highly recommend this expander. Used in an office enviornment through 3 walls and a distance of approx. 50 feet. When I first set up my pc, I had little or no signal at all. Others who were at about 40 feet and only 2 walls, had poor signal strength, but, were able to acess the internet. Rather than go through the expense of hard wiring, which was suggested by my local PC store, I ...

Easy set-up with one small piece of advice
The setup is easy, as long as you make sure to write down the Device ID # before you start. (It is on the box and on the router itself, but the font is very small and hard for middle-aged eyes to read.) Otherwise setup is quick and easy and once I setup my laptop, the wireless worked without a hitch, and is still working fine. Total installation time and setup for both desktop (wired connection) ...

I have used this drive with no problems. I use it for school everyday, and have no problems with it loading on any computer I put it on. I have have heard negative comments that files will disappear, but I have not had this happen.

Works great.
I bought this wireless adapter to connect a pc in my office. Works great and keeps connected all day. Originally i bought the compact linksys adapter but was disappointed with the signal strength. I think this model is better because it has an external antenna as apposed to the internal antenna on the compact model. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Wireless made easy
I don't know how I did it but I mistakenly ordered a Windows product for my Mac and it wasn't a problem. I went to the Hawkings website: http://www.hawkingtech.com and downloaded the appropriate software for my computer OS10.4 and it has worked flawlessly. The software was easy to install and the directions were straightforward. But what has impressed me most is the quality of the ...

If you set this puppy up manually it works great. The included CD with the wizard is a waste of time. The Pure network application bundled with it is a piece of shi... you don't need to install anything. Just plug it in and use the admin page to set it up. You need to be a little technical however. Happy
I use this SDHC in a Blackberry Pearl. It recognizes all 8 GB and has worked flawlessly. The speed is slightly slower than the device, but it is fast enough for both music and ebooks to function smoothly. I have had no interface issues between my MacBook pro and the card after instillation into my Pearl. I did not use a card reader with this particular card--no need.

Not a bad piece of equipment
I bought this when I moved into my basement apartment to avoid having to run ethernet cable from one side of the 3 bedroom ranch to the other side of the house. So far I am very please with the performance of the bridge. I normally get over a connection rate over 90%, which is normally higher and more stable than the wireless PCI card in my Mac G4 Tower. The setup was a little troublesome as ...

Great Wireless Print Server, but some problems with setup
I installed this unit on 3 laptop computers, one with XP and two with Vista Home Basic. It took me two days to do it because I didn't completely understand the installation instructions. Once I got the technuque down, it took less than 45 minutes total and about 20 minutes for each additional computer. The instruction manual is actually on the provided CD so the only written documentation is the ...

Excellent! Have Two! No Problems!
These drives are magnificently designed and built, and G-Tech offers excellent support. For some other vendors I can't say the same, but G-Tech Q drives (nor the LaCie Big Disk Extreme+ 301199U 1 TB USB 2.0/FireWire400/FireWire800 RAID System) give any problems. A power cable was replaced on one of the Qs while under warranty with G-Tech's very quick and helpful technical support. ...
