I realy like this dvd burner!!
This is a very nice burner for the money.Installation was pretty easy. the only problem I ran into was that I had to install this burner as my master drive and reinstall my factory dvd drive as the slave drive.Which was really no big deal!! All the software loaded right up!!! this is a very good preformer. I've had this for over a month and no problems what so ever!!

I bought this bare bones DVD writer to replace a failed unit. It installed and operated without any issues on my Vista 64 bit system. The drive is quiet and fast. So far it has performed well for me. It ships with driver software and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a bare bones no cables replacement drive.

Wrong software on netbook
I received my Toshiba netbook and it would not play a DVD/movie from the external drive! After trouble shooting with the manufacturer for 3 weeks I finally was told that the s/w sent on the netbook was not capable of playing a DVD!! I was flabbergasted, to say the least.
