The Second To Last Film In The View Askew Series
JASBSB is a great film. Not just because it's laugh out loud funny but because Kevin Smith has made Jay and Bob still fresh after seven years. The duo is in their best film yet and their's all the usual trade marks. A very great end to a leagcy.

When Neighborhoods Fight Back
This is a superbly farcical dark comedy. There are, surprisingly, many layers of subtle humor in this otherwise madcap comedy. It may take a number of times watching this movie before you begin to see some of the more subtle jokes that often happen in the background. As always, Tom Hanks is great, but the supporting cast does an equally superb job in their respective roles: the former soldier ...

This one a long time have I watched
I remember going to see THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK for the first time in 1980. I was 5 years old. I remember hearing the voice of Yoda and exclaiming, "That's Grover!" (i.e. Sesame Street). And it was (Frank Oz). THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK has always been my favorite of the original trilogy. I think it must be because the movie slows down alot. I love the action and excitement as much as the ...

Blow-dry
The time is the eve of the 1968 election --actual TV footage of Nixon and Agnew is interspersed with the fictional account of one womanizing straight hair dresser (Yes, Virginia, there really is a straight hair dresser), George Roundy (Warren Beatty of "Bonnie and Clyde," "Reds," "Splendor in the Grass," etc. fame)who does women's hair in the beauty shop and takes care of their other needs ...

A film that has everything it needs; a complete package to put it bluntly...
I have not seen a lot of Woody Allen movies; he's one of those directors that I really need to research and dive into. I've seen `Match Point' and loved it, and I've see `The Sweet and Lowdown' and thought it was decent, but his classics like `Annie Hall' and `Hannah and her Sisters' had truly gone unseen by my eyes. Then last weekend I decided to look into some of Allen's films and I came ...

Thirteen Inches Better Than You Think
Basically, this film suffers from having been released after Boogie Nights. Where that film was loosely based upon the life and deeds of John Holmes, Wonderland attempts to detail the last public burst of attention Holmes received and why such came to pass. It is a Rashomon-like retelling of the Wonderland Avenue murders, from the viewpoints of Holmes and sometime accomplice David Lind. A ...

An element of transformation
I remember watching this movie with my little brother, or should I say, when my brother was little. Overall, this is a fun and enjoyable movie. I love the chemistry and interaction between the characters of Phoebe Cates(Elizabeth) and Rik Mayall(Drop Dead Fred). However, the really enjoyable part of the movie for me came when Elizabeth was able to travel to her past and free her little girl ...

Omry Reznik is so Hot.
Omry Reznik is so hot in the episode "Swimming Naked." It is worth the whole DVD just to watch it. And the acting makes it hotter. The underwater photogrpahy is a delight to watch him swim. It makes me want to swim with my husband everyday.
