Definite Classic
This movie stands the test of time. While it did not get much respect when it came out. Most of Steve McQueen's movies don't stand the test. This movie stands out in my mind in a long list of World War II movies. Then you have to consider the All Star cast in this movie; it can't be beat. Truly a great film.

Seven Stars
Whilst this probably isn't the best western ever made its certainly up there amongst the top flight. It was fortunately made a few years before 'A Fistful of Dollars', which changed westerns and what was expected from them. Take the classic Kurosawa film 'Seven Samurai' (which is given its due in the opening credits) and reinvent it in the American west. Then add the staggeringly good cast of ...

Majestic Western, one of the greatest Westerns ever made...one of the greatest films ever made...
This is arguably Leone's masterpiece (even though some prefer the magisterial Once Upon a Time in America). It is one of the most astounding Westerns ever made. It can stand next to any of the great Westerns (Stagecoach, The Searchers, Unforgiven, The Wild Bunch), and it is such a unique, moving, and brilliant experience that you can see this film over and over again, and it never gets boring. ...

This is supposed to be an epic war movie. And it is. It is a great vehicle for many of the popular actors of the time which includes some immortals. This is not intended to be a documentary. The over all intent of this presentation other than entertainment is to show that war has a lasting effect on those people that live through it. The story is of course the title "Battle of the Bulge" ...

The End Of Film
I originally saw This Property Is Condemned while in Los Angeles as boy in the late sixties when it premiered on network television. Since then I've seen it about 2,000 more times and it gets better with each viewing. It inspired me to move to Mississippi, to frequently haunt New Orelans, and to marry a gal that resembled Alva. As far as I'm concerned this movie makes Citizen Kane, Lawrence of ...

A classic movie you can watch again and again
Our whole family loves this movie. Barbara Stanwyck plays a writer who pretends to be married with a baby and pretends she's an expert at cooking, sewing, and overall home-making. Her boss decides that she should have a recovering military man to her country home (which she doesn't have) for Christmas so he can experience cozy home-life over the holidays. Then, her boss manages to invite himself ...

Charles in charge!
When someone says the name Charles Bronson, I immediately think of "The Mechanic." The image of Bronson brushing his hair out of his eyes at the begining is classic. Jan-Michael Vincent of "White line fever" White Line Feverfame co-stars as well.

Bronson Hard as the times
This is a great movie. Bronson is left with fairly minimal dialogue to worry about, but that is not what his opponnents should be worrying about. He is definitely lean and mean but desperate times call for these measires(sorry for the cliche) he fights for survival and the bare essentials he and his family need to live. The depression era is portrayed in the way that it should be,hard, filthy ...

Deathj wish DVD When we first meet Paul Kersey, he is in all respects a gentle man. A successful architect who is happily married (Joanna, Hope Lange) and a proud father of his beloved daughter, he is carefully positioned as a law-abiding citizen. To repeat, a gentle man. Over time, after his wife and daughter are brutally attacked by thugs who escape punishment, Kersey commits himself to ...

This will be short and sweet. I highly recommend this movie. I always love early era movies. If you really want to see a true love story, then this one is for you. I shared it with some friends and they really liked they way it was done. It was a really great movie. It had a story, a plot, it had all the aspects of a really good movie worth watching. It will surprise you.

Twice the action
The double feature is a good value and plenty of action for any excitement addict. These are two movies with a twist and tongue in cheek. That is until the shooting begins. The action comes fast and furious against the dreaded Germans. One is a treasure hunt and the other a suicide mission. You have to be a little patriotic to care what happens to these misfits. But the plots are agreeable ...
