Reefer Madness - The Movie Musical63 reviews
Kristen Bell, Christian Campbell

Showtime Ent., 2005

A great movie that you've probably never heard of
"Reefer Madness: the Musical" is yet another entry in the seemingly endless stream of musical remakes of existing movies. Yet, unlike other recent musical remakes, such as "The Producers" or "Hairspray", "Reefer Madness: the Musical" is actually better than the original, and the makers of it seem to have made an effort to hire actors who can actually sing and dance. The original movie in ...

Nicolas Cage, Adam Beach

MGM (Video & DVD), 2002

Without the Codetalkers, we might have lost the war
Sergeant Joe Enders (Cage) is cheating his hearing exam to get back out into the fight. What he doesn't know is that he's going to get assigned to a new duty, protecting the Code from the Japanese. On the surface, that means he's protecting a Navajo Indian soldier, a Codetalker, who speaks the one cipher the Japanese have not broken--his Native language. He's teamed up with "Ox" Anderson ...

Banshee1 review
Christian Campbell, Romano Orzari

IMAGE ENTERTAINMENT, 2008

The house music killer
A serial killer and a car thief interact in this semi-horror thriller. It has action, suspense and a really baby doll voiced star who does very good martial arts without toys, but she polishes off a fellow with a sledge hammer. The car chases are nice. Stunts are pretty good and the acting is better than ordinary. For an action movie that makes it worth the time.

An awesome tape for *NSYNC fans
This tape includes interviews and music videos of these five talented guys, and is definitely a must have for any true *NSYNC fan. It not only includes the US versions of the music videos. It also includes videos for "Here We Go", "For the Girl Who Has Everything", and the European "I Want You Back" video, which shows how the guys have evolved over the years. I definitely would recommend this ...

Trick Is A Treat: One of my All-Time Favorites
I can't imagine there will ever be a better gay-date movie than Trick. With two extremely-appealing leads, a witty and romantic script, surprisingly good performances by a host of players, including the totally fresh and unexpected Tori Spelling, and even a sweet soundtrack, Trick will make you want to run right out and fall in love. Not even the hardest heart could watch Trick and not root ...

What A Pleasant Surprise!
I just watched this tonight with a little trepidation, wondering if it was just another "Miracle Of Marcellino",which is another great movie,by the way, that also involves a Christ on A Cross. Imagine my surprise to find this is a completely different story, and yet so good I must own it as well. I was completely draw into the characters and the story, and I was also very happy with the music and ...

Surprised and Impressed
Thank You, Good Night is a refreshing, fun-to-watch adventure with the stuggling band you always wanted to be in. "Living your dreams" meets "Now that could actually happen." This is a great film to watch with a group of good friends. There's a character for everyone.

A spiritually uplifting film that should have had a wider release
I never even heard of this film until this month when my Spiritual Cinema Circle subscription featured this film in its November 2005 mail-out. For those who don't know, Spiritual Cinema Circle is a mail distribution service where members get a dvd each month that includes 3 short films and one feature film of spiritually inspiring content. They bring little known films into your home and I ...

half and half
okay, i'm one of the few people out there that thought this movie wasn't that bad. don't get me wrong i mean it was bloody awful but it was so campy and funny that i wouldn't be surprised if they rereleased it in the theatres and it became like a Rocky Horror thing with people throwing stuff and yelling at the screen. then it would be bearable. honestly though the action scenes and the special ...

A movie I could watch again and again
I couldn't wait for this movie to come out on dvd and now that it has I couldn't be more pleased. My only complaint was that it wasn't in a true letterbox. The commentary stands as a special feature. It was nice to hear a director tell stories about making the movie rather than how the shot was filmed. Most of the technical lingo goes over my head on commentaries but this one was quiet ...

They're in hell.
Characters that we've spent the past few volumes getting to know and care about, are now going to pay the ultimate price, and suffer more than you can ever imagine. This is the end of the Berserk tv series (for now at least), and only just the beginning of Gutts' journey. This final volume starts out with Caska, Gutts, Pippin and Judeau infiltrating the castle in which Griffith is being held ...
