Tarzan (Special Edition)329 reviews
Tony Goldwyn, Minnie Driver

Walt Disney Home Entertainment, 2005

2 Disc Collector's Edition
Somewhere in 2000, Disney quietly launched a special 2 disc collector's edition of "Tarzan" the same year as its paltry one disc edition. For some reason it advertised the one disc version heavily, which is a shame because the collector's edition is a gem not to be missed by fans. Unfortunately I didn't know about it until years after its release, and by then it was out of print, hard to find, ...

Samuel L. Jackson, Kelly Hu

Funimation, 2007

Good series, perfect DVD
This Boxset is very well designed. The package is so great. It looks and feels great. Very good, especially for the fair price. I can only recommend it. About the series I have to say: If you like animes, martial arts, Wu-Tang, The RZA, Samuel L. Jackson or/and "lightweight entertainment" this is a must buy/see!!

A Goofy Movie (Disney Gold Classic Collection)97 reviews
Wayne Allwine, Dante Basco

Walt Disney Video, 2000

One of Disney's Best!
On the last day of school before summer vacation, Goofy's teenage son Max plans to interrupt an assembly with a song and dance number to win the attention of the girl of his dreams, Roxanne. Emulating his pop-star hero, Powerline, Max pulls off the stunt long enough to gain major popularity points with his peers and get the date he was hoping for, but not without landing himself in the ...

Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Vol. 1 - Seasons 1-382 reviews
Rob Paulsen, Jason Marsden

Walt Disney Video, 2006

Excellent quality entertainment for a good price
The animation is in the same lines a most Disney artwork - very good. The product has 3 full seasons. It is worth a 5 star rating for what was obtained (even without extras).

Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas62 reviews
Wayne Allwine, Tony Anselmo

Walt Disney Home Entertainment, 2004

Magical, enchanting animation that gets you into the Christmas spirit!
After watching Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas(which I thoroughly enjoyed),I decided to also buy it's sequel(being a lover of all things Christmas and Disney). It was only when I bought it,I realised it was computer animated... (This was also the first time the Disney characters were seen in 3D animation). 'Oh here we go'...I thought to myself. I usually find that when Disney uses ...

White Squall67 reviews
Jeff Bridges, Caroline Goodall

Walt Disney Video, 1999

Great movie
Great movie. You don't see much of Scott Wolf anymore but the movie is great and all of the actors made you a part of the story. I recommend it if you like movies set on the ocean or boats. I guess it is also a god disaster movie too.

Batman Gotham Knight [Blu-ray]189 reviews
Corey Burton, Kevin Conroy

Warner Home Video, 2008

Only worth it for the last 3 short stories
I saw this feature on Cartoon Network and while I felt it had potential, it didn't live up to it. It didn't totally suck but definitely not as good as it could've been. I didn't mind that it was in anime as I am a fan of that style of animation but the first story definitely sucked! The stories progressively got better as the feature went on with the final story called "Deadshot" being the ...

Fairy Tale - A True Story74 reviews
Harvey Keitel, Jason Salkey

Paramount, 2003

Fairy Tale - A True Story
This has been one of my favorite movies for several years. I just bought a copy for each set of grandchildren. It would not keep the attention of very young children, but is perfect for 6 year olds and above. Look for the uncredited appearance of Mel Gibson at the end of the movie.

Garfield Gets Real10 reviews
Frank Welker, Audrey Wasilewski

20th Century Fox, 2007

GARFIELD!!!
This is my #2 movie of the year (next to Iron Man). The movie is nothing but die hard laughs. You see some new characters in this film. They are the Stegmans, Billy Bear, and Randy Rabbit. They also have Nermal and Arliene. The only character missing is Liz (Jon's love interest). I wonder who do Nermal and Arliene live with? I wonder if they're making a sequel or not but still a hillarious movie.

Brother Bear 235 reviews
Patrick Dempsey, Mandy Moore (II)

Walt Disney Home Entertainment, 2006

Color Me a Sentimentalist, but I Like BB2 Even Better than the Original
Yes, it is true that the original Brother Bear was excellent, that it was more "earthy" than Brother Bear 2, and that using the voice of Wanda Sykes as the "Sha-Woman" in this sequel was a little odd. Overall, however, I actually found this movie more moving and more enjoyable to watch--over and over again--than the original Brother Bear. I also liked the score and the songs just as well, if not ...

Batman - Return to the Batcave26 reviews
Amy Acker, Curtis Armstrong

Starz / Anchor Bay, 2005

NOT THE SAME BAT CHANNEL
This is unlike anything you've ever seen before when it comes to the notorious Adam West, and undisputable boy wonder, Burt Ward. However, it still embraces the campy silliness of the popular cult 60s tv series. Here the old legends must recall their younger days at casting, auditioning, and dressing in costume for location shots. Ironic that the production uses todays music for those scenes. Of ...

Dragonlance - Dragons Of The Autumn Twilight216 reviews
Lucy Lawless, Kiefer Sutherland

Paramount, 2008

A long time coming
The film remains true to the story depicted in the novel quite well. With only an hour and a half of run time anyone who's not read the books would get a basic but fundamental feel for the characters, their subtle interactions revealing hidden secrets that are revealed in later installments of the series. I certainly hope future film adaptations, perhaps with better quality on the part of the ...
