Another Jane Austen great! Emma Thompson was wonderful as Elinor. She embodied the ideal of "sensibility" in love. She deserved the Golden Globe award for "best screenplay". Alan Rickman as the "Colonel" was very impressive. I imagine it would be an actor's dream to act in one of Jane Austen's novels on screen. I recommend this movie to anyone who loves a good, romantic film.
