An answer to whether leaders are born or made - watch the making of John Connor
To be honest, I have no clue what people can be complaining about with this series. IF you like Terminator, you should like this. There's no way Arnold S. and Linda H. were going to sign on for a TV series, so we get their capable replacements instead. The timeline of this series is obviously after the second of the three Terminator movies. In the second, the viewer is essentially left with ...

The Climax of Ghibli (Volume 1: Part 11)
Studio Ghibli had been belting out movies since the early 1980s. They delt with everything from epic fantasy to coming of age films. But, nothing would have prepared the world for 'Princess Mononoke'. Not only is this film the 2nd highest grossing film in Japan, it is also the film that finally gave Studio Ghibili notice in the United States. 'Princess Mononoke' shows the epic battle of man ...

Sex and more
I found interesting about this movie is the "balance of interest" between the two people and how it shifts back and forth throughout the movie. I'd recommend an amazing book in this topic Sex and the Perfect Lover: Tao, Tantra, and the Kama Sutra

The best film ever?
It's the best I've ever seen. Why? Because it enters a world of psychology in a unique and powerful way. It exposes the selfish tyrant that lies in all of us. Do we not all do what we do for "I?" What drives us to be what we become? What is our most basic need, our most primal desire? This film deals with these things in a visceral experience of entertainment. This film had to be quite ...

Best Season?
This is actually my favorite season of Entourage. My only disappointment was the disappearance of Debi Mazar and Emmanuelle Chriqui, (I think they were only in like one episode). Anyways, I don't want give anything away, but I am really excited to see what happens. If you are a fan of Entourage, you will enjoy this season!

Do you like Phil Collins?
Absolutely one of my favorite movies. A satire of the yuppie culture and life in the 80's, American Psycho is a cross between a comedy and a horror movie. There are so many cold, icy, lines that will make you laugh, but there is also the psychotic killer aspect that makes you feel guilty for even liking the movie. A real thinking movie, you will probably have to watch it twice, but you won't ...

Season Four--IN BOX!!
I was very pleased to discover the new Green Box and the creative innovations within. For me, the Bonus Features alone are worth the very reasonable pri$e of admission! I felt that the homeroom class of 30 new Survivor candidates resusitated new life into the show as we had tired of the whiteboard's inclusion of (the usual suspect)"lupus", & witnessing for the umpteenth time a tracheotomy, (ugh) ...

Enough Now
This is going to be a long review, because I feel obligated to answer to all those who have left negative reviews and to point out their weakness on the points. The first thing to do, is to concede to the negative reviews, several major points. This movie is depraved, sickening, horrifying, violent, disgusting, inhumane, disturbing, nightmarish, and violent. It shows the most despicable ...

This is a must see if you have any interest in Beatles music. I found myself going to wikipedia to find out what the Beatles were trying to communicate and what the director was trying to create in this musical. Cast of actors were Phenomenal.

The Shield doesn't step aside, it steps up
For all its hard-edges and testosterone-fuelled machismo, The Shield never fails to paint its principal characters as touchingly human, even if the moments are few and far between that we get to glimpse these more tender parts, and this is one of the elements of its success at being the most emotionally cathartic, intense, adrenaline-rush on the telly. The Shield, in my albeit humble ...

"JOURNEY'S END?".....not on your life SUNSHINE!!
The major dynamic of Doctor Who has always been one of change, after all it IS a show about a 900+ year-old face-swapping, regenerating Timelord with no-fixed-abode, each week an entirely new location, with a new cast of characters. It's because of this dynamic that the series has had such (multimedia) longevity. With series 4, of the new series we see a continuation of this, with the return of ...
