The Stupids59 reviews
Tom Arnold, Jessica Lundy

New Line Home Video, 2004

Accurate movie title
The Stupids are a family of stupid people in stupid situations with stupid results. Reminiscent, but not as dark as, Serial Mom.

Chief Jay Strongbow, Ted DiBiase

Sony, 2002

One of the best DVD's ever released by WWE
Being a big fan of the NWO, it's a dvd dream come true. WWE kicked butt with this dvd. They left a few things out, but the dvd was still amazing. You should buy this dvd. It's a true collector's item.

The Talented Mr. Ripley / School Ties (Double Feature)2 reviews
Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow

Paramount, 2008

Veering A Long Way from The Novel
This is a beautifully crafted movie with fine acting, directing, cinematography, and an artful script. The Italian locations are beautiful and striking. In its own realm of cinema, it is a superb production. What interests me most, though, is how the film differs from Patricia Highsmith's fine novel. The film medium should not slavishly follow another art form, the novel, but should it veer so ...

The Talented Mr. Ripley384 reviews
Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow

Paramount, 2000

The Eternal Outsider
Perhaps because I had no preconceptions from reading the book, I thought this a terrific film. It contained essential ingredients that I love in a mystery, glorious cinematography of Italy (including Rome--with a fictitious cafe set up in front of what I recall is actually a clothing store across from the Spanish Steps; Venice; and Ischia standing in for the seaside town of the story); suspense, ...

Sour Grapes25 reviews
John Toles-Bey, Craig Bierko

Turner Home Ent, 1999

very freakin' funny!
SPOILERS BEWARE***** I don't know why this movie is so maligned- on imdb it gets only 5.4 out of 10. I LIKE this movie a lot. It's funny, it's very accurate in regards to human nature- people do DO this kind of stupid stuff all the time. And the irony in this movie is hilarious! In this movie one of the 2 cousins wins a jackpot on a slot machine in Atlantic City. The one playing the machine ...

Tempting Fate2 reviews
Paul Ben-Victor, Matt Craven

Direct Source Label, 2007

Tempting Fate movie review.
Back in the 1990's I saw it on ABC. It was good, but I can'f figure out how the machine teleports to the alternate dimention. Like sliders on Sci-Fi channel they used a photon generator. Going through dimention in space means going through the black hole. On earth when we sleep we dream that we are in a alternate dimention. I can't wait to watch the DVD to find out how it works.

Cold Feet1 review
Halsey Hall Lindquist, Meisha Johnson

CreateSpace, 2009

Great indie comedy film
This very refreshing indie movie showcases the talent of a young cast and crew, in front and behind the camera. You will totally enjoy this story of a couple getting some nerves and anxiety before the big day. The scenery of Minnesota in the fall is gorgeous. Director Ross McNamara, Editor Thuy-Van Nguyen, and several other crew members are graduates of Northwestern University legendary School of ...

Ankle Biters14 reviews
Adam Minarovich, Jeremy Busbee

Possibly the greatest film achievement in cinema history
I have to say I wasn't expecting much when I rented this movie, but after watching it, I was overwhelmed by what I experienced. Never has a motion picture moved and inspired me more than Ankle Biters. I can't begin to put into words the awe-inspiring acting, screenplay, cinematography, and special effects that is Ankle Biters. For the entire length of the film, I sat on the edge on my seat in ...

The Case of the Whitechapel Vampire7 reviews
Norris Domingue, Matt Frewer

Platinum Disc, 2005

5 STARS FOR MATT FREWER'S HOLMES
I am surprised at the hostility of several reviewers to these very interesting and atmospheric Sherlock Holmes' stories. As fan of Conan Doyle's stories in print and on film since childhood, I think Matt Frewer is by far the best screen emodiment of Holmes. The arrogance, cynicism and touch of self-aggrandizement are just about perfect. To say nothing of the physicality of Frewer's take on ...

Anarchy TV: The Movie5 reviews
Jonathan Penner, Jessica Hecht

Indie DVD, 2003

Anarchy TV
The film is a quite funny and refreshingly affirmative counter-culture take on religious hypocracy, police brutality and racism. It contains an amusing send up of so-called family values. I took my 14 year old son to see it. It is a healthful antedote to the banal and unimaginative twaddle on TV and in the movies.

Anarchy TV

Anarchy TV is an outrageous comedy about a group of friends with an uncensored Public Access cable show who are driven off the air by a maniacal televangelist. Intent on gaining the public's attention and reclaiming their station, the Anarchy crew rally, protest and ultimately resort to the ultimate publicity stunt. With great performances from its hip cast and driving music in an outstanding soundtrack, Anarchy TV provides an explosive ...
