Quiet, yet moving
This movie has an art house/independent film presentation. No wasted dialogue (except for a few of the voiceovers). Powerful love/sex scenes. Nice chemistry between the two leads.

Almost HD
The Triangle This epic was fascinating and absorbing. The almost HD on my TV and through a Blu-ray was stunning. Stunning performances by all.

This movie is absolutely perfect in every conceivable way.
I'm not kidding. If this movie doesn't make you laugh you're a worse person than Hitler. Well, not Hitler, but definitely Goebbels. Then again, you might just not like it. You're probably somewhere between Goebbels and Gandhi.

A great sequel. Even funnier than the 1st one. I'm hoping to see a Bad Boys 3 in the future with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as the main focus.

What a Great Movie!
Love, death, car wrecks, great music, and a happy ending what more can one movie deliver? I thoroughly enjoy watching this movie and have watched it time and time again. It's a great movie to sit in front of on a wet Sunday afternoon with the kids.

A Beautiful Film - But Not For Every Taste
Vanilla Sky has been called superficial, vain, over-produced and arrogant, and it is all of those things, I won't deny it. You have to accept and even appreciate these flaws if you're going to enjoy what this film has to offer. At its core, the film is a classic tale of redemption with some sci-fi elements tossed in to add to the flavor. At times it is shocking and violent, at others ...

Ridiculous! Completely Ridiculous!
OK, this film bombed at the theaters and I am guessing it was panned by the critics. HOWEVER, it has some of the funniest lines and scenes in movie history. Artie and Norm work beautifully together. MOREOEVR, there is one scene in this movie that makes me literally cry because it is so funny, no change that, because it is so ridiculous.

"Touch of Evil" presented in its three different variations with actor commentary
Over looked when it was released (except in France where it won awards and critical praise), "Touch of Evil" was Orson Welles' last major studio project as writer-director-star. When the original director bowed out, Welles (supported by star Charlton Heston)asked for the chance to write and direct the film. Welles' revamped Paul Monash's screenplay, recast Heston as a Mexican offical and ...

Never Been Kissed
I have never been a huge Drew Barrymore fan, but this movie changed my opinion of her somewhat. She plays Josie Gellar a painfully shy editor for the Chicago Sun Times, and through a comedy of errors, ends up being appointed as an undercover reporter at a local high school. This film switches back and forth between the past and present as we see Josie try to fit in with the students. She was ...

Nemesis one of the best, misses mark with non-fans
My apologies up front, but my review of this film, and reaction to some of the other reviews present, is more personal and less detached than reviews of this type usually should be. But where Star Trek is concerned, my opinions are more emotional, and even deeply more personal than usual for TV and film subject matter. If this will derail you, read no further. After watching so many people ...

Invaluable Parental Aid for Raising Daughters
You've read the plot synopsis and you probably know that Drop Dead Gorgeous is Drop Dead Funny. One of the things that makes it work is that the cast almost never winks at the audience. There's hardly a clue that this is an over-the-top parody. This deadpan quality is what made it such a great daughter-rearing aid. When our child was about the age when lipstick starts to supplant funny face ...

One of my favorite movies of 2002
Even though 8 Mile can't touch Purple Rain or Krush Groove when it comes to music it was one of my favorite movies from last year. Like I said 8 Mile was clearly without a doubt one of the best movies of the previous year when it came to crowd pleasing. Director Curtis Hanson and screenwriter Scott Silver have tailor made a great first movie for Eminem. In his portrayl of Jimmy Smith Jr.,Eminem ...

Great Price for a classic action flick
Point Break is a really unique action film and it stands the test of time. The dialogue is so-so but holds your interst until the end with the final skydiving scenes. In this adrenaline edition, you get a nice set of extras and for a really low price. This movie had one of my favorite bank robbery scenes and I highly recommend it to anyone for the value of this dvd.

The most preposterous, ridiculous, ENJOYABLE film I've seen in a long time
From a "logical" point of view, the plot of this movie is preposterous. But if you have retained any portion of that "kid" inside you, you can enjoy this film right along with the "real" kids in the family.
