MoonChild worth waiting for
Since I watched Moonchild on youtube, I wanted to own the dvd. After a long time of searching I found this collection and to my surprise at a very good price. If you are a fan of Japanese action/horror/comedy don't waste time and buy these excellent movies!

Takashi Miike is great
Audition is a great movie. Its slow at first but once you reach the end you realize how great the build up was. I recommend this to anyone who likes horror, weird, fetish, or just plain gross movies.

Not a martial arts movie
It seems many people think this would be a martial arts film due to the fact that Jet Li is in it, but not so. The movie is not all that bad, it has a decent plot and storyline. Anyone who is a Jet Li fan will probably want to take a look as he steps out of his traditional role and goes for something a bit different. But don't hold your breath waiting for some riveting, high quality fight ...

Will scare you out of your seat
I loved the opening scene where Jennifer Beals character first pours hor bacon grease over her live in boyfriends head, and to finish it off then hits him over the head with a cast iron frying pan. Awsome. We don't know at that point she has been taken over by the "thing". One of the better horror shows in years. Beals can do it all, but gets little credit.

It's That Gurgling That Gets Me!...
I first saw THE GRUDGE in it's initial theatrical form. I didn't find it all that frightening. Of course, I had just seen THE RING, which made THE GRUDGE seem like a clone thereof. Well, I recently watched the extended, director's cut of THE GRUDGE and it is a tad spookier. One thing that puzzles me is why the many deleted scenes were not incorporated into the finished product. Quite a few of ...

I still don't quite understand...but then again, I wasn't supposed to was I?
Ok...this movie...I watched it 1 time through, then jumped to several moments that I thought contained meaning to the theory driving it...but I still don't understand. People here have been saying that the movie somehow represents the "disconnection" that people in societies have on towards their human side; we have indulged ourselves into jaded lives, wrapped into other meaningless pursuits such ...

A great movie - beyond just violence
Beat Takeshi provides another violent movie, whose purpose seems to be that violence begets violence, and ultimately it's a dead end. The basic plot has Takeshi playing a yakuza forced to leave Japan upon the death of his boss. He finds his half brother in LA pushing drugs rather than attending school. Takeshi violently turns the small time crew into a major crime cartel. Yakuza themes of ...

I ordered the product as I had seen the movie before and this movie kept my attention and still does. Sometime I like to spend the day looking at old movies and this one is still at the top. Suspenseful. Very pleased on the timeliness of the delivery. Your web site made it easy to find. THANKS

An Unknown Future
"Big Bang Love Juvenile A" An Unknown Future Amos Lassen Two detectives following the case of a boy who confessed to the murder of another boy in a juvenile detention center is what "Big Bang Love Juvenile A" is about. There is a great deal of homosexual tension and violence here and we get some incredible visuals in this Japanese film. Directed by Takeshi Miike, an amazing auteur, here ...

Aesthetically stunning and possibly brilliant (I'm still not sure on the latter)
Though the insanely overrated Takashi Miike has been getting most of the attention when it comes to cult Japanese cinema, the incredibly talented and underrated Shinya Tsukamoto is, for my money, the most fascinating Japanese director today. Each film of his is strikingly different, and yet anchored by recurring themes that prove, if anything, he is a true modern auteur. GEMINI is perhaps his ...

Decent flick but not without its flaws.
I enjoy anything paranormal so Dream Cruise was a no brainer for me. If you've watched any of the MOH series at all then you already know what to expect as far as quality goes. The special effects are good but the acting leaves a bit to be desired. Dream Cruise is a bit misleading too, I expected a cruise ship but instead I got a cabin cruiser so I was a bit concerned how they were going to make ...
