The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring (Full Screen Edition)3594 reviews
Noel Appleby, Sean Astin

New Line Home Entertainment, 2002

Good Movie!
This is a really good movie. I have been a 'Lord of the Rings' fan for a really long time. I love the books, I love the soundtracks, and I love the movies. I think this is an amazing opening for a series, it`s so witty, creative, and fun. Good movie...really worth watching.

Momentum2 reviews
Louis Gossett Jr., Teri Hatcher

Dimension, 2005

It's not as bad as it first look's.
I have just watched this film on the Sci-Fi chanel and I actually liked it. Okay it's low budget and there are no CGI effects ( a definaite bonus ) and it is so obviously a pilot for a tv series which has yet ( or never) to appear. But the acting is good to okey and the film over all is enjoyable to watch. I have never watched the Fury or Scanners but it does seem very similiar to a story I once ...

The Godfather 2 of Animated Movies
The movie itself is one of the best CG animated ever made. The delivery of the product was amazingly fast and brand new, as described. Great seller.

Witchcraft I4 reviews
Anat Topol, Gary Sloan

Simitar Ent., 1997

Not What I Expected!
This movie was not what I expected. The actors are "no-names" and the camera work seems to be on an amature level. While the picture quality is good, the plot of the movie actually is even better. If you like "B" movies, you will like this one! It will keep your attention. Witchcraft II is even better!

Still my favorite animated movie
I loved this movie when it first came out, and I still watch it time to time. No animated movie will be better than this, in my opinion.

The Butterfly Effect (Infinifilm Edition)471 reviews
Ashton Kutcher, Melora Walters

New Line Home Entertainment, 2004

Good value, good movie
$8.99 is an excellent deal for this movie. It's very original, and Kutcher and Smart play their parts perfectly. If you liked this movie in theaters then definitely buy this because it's a classic movie to add to your collection. And it's nice to have all the Infinifilm bonus features.

Sherlock Holmes - The Master Blackmailer14 reviews
Jeremy Brett, Edward Hardwicke

Mpi Home Video, 2003

Does this come with a Libretto?
It's curiously lyrical. It wasn't Directed so much as it was Conducted. Especially the final confrontation between The Veiled Woman and Milverton with its counterpoint/overlay of dialogue "duet." Cinematography is wonderful - like a series of paintings. The interesting angles and use of reflections are Director Peter Hammond at the height of his technique. Who else would have thought of ...

Demon Slayer3 reviews
Heidi Abures, Michelle Acuna

New Concorde, 2003

Slay me!
This film is about five troubled teens who are assigned by a court to work in an old abandoned and possessed hospital. It's such a by-the-numbers re-worked plot that even as each of the kids are introduced to the camera a little caption appears under them, so you know who's the 'goth', who's the 'brother' etc... because the producers are assuming you're too stupid to tell - even with their ...

Lions Gate, 2006

aka Pure Crapfest 3
This season he takes his final bounty... ...And pray to God that neither he nor this series ever comes back! In 1921, a voodoo-practicing witch stuffs a scarecrow with a brain, heart, and possibly other organs. The James brothers and their gang of moonlighters decide to take over the witch's territory and kill her in front of the scarecrow. As we may be able to assume from the back cover ...

The Dragon From Russia1 review
Sam Hui, Maggie Cheung

cool fight sequences - overlooked but good
While the world is now familiar with Jackie Chan and Jet Li, not many perhaps will have heard of Sam Hui. Also a comedy star in Hong Kong, appearing with his brothers Michael and Ricky, Sam made a surprisingly good action hero in this adaptation of the Japanese manga, Crying freeman (which has recently been remade in the US under the same title). He was certainly physically up to the part. At ...

Two Coyotes (Chk Sen)1 review
Jorge Cordova, Ricardo Molina

Xenon, 2001

This is one you shouldn't miss!
Two Coyotes - what a ride!!! I absolutely recommend this film to anyone who wants to escape there safe world and see what really goes on in the twisted underworld of drugs. A true gangster flick that is not sensationalized through Hollywoods magic eye. It is very true to life, which gets a little scary at times. Jose Bencomo Reyes, did not leave anything out, he hits you with a bat and shows ...

She Shoots Straight1 review
Agnes Aurelio, Fat Chung

Tai Seng, 2004

A personal favorite
Policewoman Mina (Joyce Godenzi) marries into a family of cops and has to gain acceptance from them AND battle a Vietnamese gang. This is a very good action movie (not great) with plenty of gun play and martial arts. Joyce Godenzi is a personal favorite of mine and I was disappointed when she retired from film making, after marrying Sammo Hung. She doesn't have the martial arts skills of ...

The Iceman Cometh5 reviews
Biao Yuen, Maggie Cheung

Tai Seng, 1999

A smart rehash of " Time After Time " .
Though the plot is not original enough, still has some fresh elements, very Chinese style. My English is poor, can't tell the story well, 1st reviewer did a great job helps a lot. Fung San was Chinese version of " Jack the Ripper " travel through time to present Hong Kong. ( Well, not actually " Time Travel " but frozen over three hundred years and resurrect, still young and alive.) Our hero ...

Fight Back to School 22 reviews
John Wakefield (II), Sarah Lee (III)

Tai Seng, 2006

Better Than the Original
I was inspired to see this after seeing the original, and this one falls into that rare category of "Sequel Good As / Better Than the Original". Stephen Chow is truly hysterical; I can't remember laughing so hard in a long time. Check this out, it is well worth your while.
