Love At First Bite
Love at First Bite This movie is just as funny now as it was back in the late 70's. The only thing that sucks about this movie is the disco scene. They replaced the song, "I love The Night Life" for some other gay song. That takes awayfrom this movie. Other than that, this movie is funny.

I Dreamed Of Africa
I have loved this movie since the very first time I saw it. I suppose because it is a true story about a woman of real courage. It is magnificent, and terrifying, heartening, and heartbreaking.

Kate & Allie - The Complete First and Second Seasons4 reviews
Susan Saint James, Jane Curtin

Unidisc, 2007

Finally!
While I agree that the marketing strategy for the US and Canadian release of Kate & Allie left a lot to be desired, I am happy that these wonderful episodes made it to DVD at all. The casting, the writing, the acting... Watching these shows feels like coming home... and I have lived in Norway all my life!

This movie is a crack up
This movie is fun, different. I have liked since the very first time I saw it on HBO all those years ago. I haven't seen it in a long time and am thrilled to find it again. Total entertainment. Love this. Donna

Waiting for Season 2 and beyond
I had forgotten how great this show was and now after getting Season 1, I can't understand why the rest of the seasons have not been released.

Allie Lowell, Susan Saint James

Unidisc, 2007

Hands Down Kate & Allie is My Favorite TV Show
I never get tired of watching Kate & Allie. It was difficult to find in reruns (for some reason) and so I am very glad to be able to pop in a DVD and watch it whenever I like. As a New Yorker, I also like seeing the opening scenes of Kate & Allie walking around the city and talking. By the way, it is clearly typed as Susan Saint James on each of the DVD collections and not Susan St. James, as ...

Kate & Allie - Season One31 reviews
Peter Onorati, Susan Saint James

Universal Studios, 2006

Kate & Allie
Even though these episodes were made in the 80's they are still true to life stories, timeless, funny and heartwarming. A true classic. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to sit down and curl up with a great woman to woman show. Wish more season sets would be available soon.

Carbon Copy15 reviews
George Segal, Susan Saint James

MGM (Video & DVD), 2004

A Laugh Till You Cry Comedy
This movie, though originally released in the 1980's, is as comical and thought provoking today as it was twenty years ago! George Segal plays a wealthy business executive living in ritzy San Marino California with his wife, Susan St. James and snotty step daughter. His father-in-law, Jack Warden, owns the company Segal works for and all is well until Segal's illegitimate son, played by ...

S.O.S. Titanic28 reviews
David Janssen, Cloris Leachman

Image Entertainment, 2002

Titanic with a sense of humour
This version of the Titanic movie saga that has taken the world by storm is one that doesn't take itself too seriously. Instead of focussing on the negatives such a snobbiness and class differences (which they save for a later time when the real tragedy occurs) it focusses on the funny things like Molly Brown's reluctance to be called Maggie, her 'unwillingness' to dance with a perfect stranger, ...
