A note on the tracklisting
Just want to correct an error on the tracklisting of this fabulous dvd-release, that I see no one have noticed. The Booker T & The MGs performance of TIC TAC TOE is wrongly listed as RED BEANS AND RICE.

Various Artists, Paul Siegel

Hal Leonard, 2001

Start here--
This DVD takes you all the way from pulling drums out of the box to putting them together to holding the sticks to playing simple beats and grooves. The instruction is clear and includes some of Tommy Igoe's students, ending with some playing of his own. Perfect for the beginner with little or no drumming experience. Highly recommended. BTW, a few extra tips for beginners: 1. Resist the ...

Great DVD for babies & children
Would recommend this DVD. Cute video and great music. You can also change the singing to just children, which really catches my sons attention. This one is my favorite one so far.

Rhino Records, 2009

Blast From The Past
I had not seen this for a very, very, long time. Living in the San Francisco Bay area all my life, the memories of all the music and bands I use to go see on one DVD is about as cool as it gets.

Love Train: The Sound of Philadelphia - Live in Concert12 reviews
Various Artists

Sony Legacy, 2009

Excellent Concert!
A Fantastic Concert and tribute to a great style of music, in particular great to see the O'jays, good sound and vision quality and no awful over-dubbing of crowd cheering as is usual on these types of DVD, shame there was no Lou Rawls though, all in all well worth the money!

Time Life Entertainment, 2009

5 STARS AREN'T ENOUGH
Five stars are too few. I'd like to give this set 100! This is really a wonderful set, both for us baby boomers and our kids, who get to see and hear the musical icons of the 60s and 70s. And we baby boomers see performances by some of the newer artists, like Metallica, and Eddie Vedder. The best part of this fabulous set is seeing these musicians induct other musicians and accept induction ...

Digital Enviroments, 2008

Great Blu-ray
I was very well pleased with this. The scenery is awesome. The details in high-def brings my 52" LCD to life. An added bonus was the options to play different types of music while watching. Like classical, harp, bluegrass and various others.

Old School Soul Party Live18 reviews
Various Artists

Shout! Factory, 2006

Money Well Spent -- This One Is A Keeper
This is an excellent video -- I thought it would be tapes from the 70's, but it's an updated version of the 70's stars -- they all still look good and sound good too! You have to have this video in your collection! I enjoyed it tremendously -- looked at it twice in succession, initially! Buy it! You won't be disappointed.

Various Artists

Shout Factory, 2004

Super Soul
This is a great dvd!! I didn't expect this level of preformances, but these old pros really burned up the stage!! Eugene Record(Chi-Lites) sounded fantastic, Manhattan were superb, and on and on. This is cheap at 3 times the price

The '60s Rock Experience Live13 reviews
Various Artists

Shout! Factory, 2006

A MUST HAVE !
Some of these reviewers get overly critical - like they are auditioning for a job. If you like this type of music this is a no-brainer purchase. The video quality is very good & the sound quality is excellent. What makes this dvd so good is that all the original singers are singing - so if you close your eyes it will sound like what you're used to hearing !! BUY this - Amazons price is ...

The Tribute to Pavarotti [Blu-ray]2 reviews
Various Artists

Decca, 2009

Emotional Tribute for the Master
Is a perfect tribute for the Master and the quality of all interpeters is fine. Spetial mention to Sting, and Laura Pausini with Giovanotti ,and Zuchero . Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras very emotive as always they are. The Music Quality is impresive. The video quality is a litle dissaapointed for my taste. Is fine for a collectors Fernando GR

Remember the '70s - Greatest Hits Live8 reviews
Various Artists

Shout Factory, 2004

Fond Memories revived
We are so used to the yearly Doo-Wop, etc. Reunion shows that come out on PBS, that we sort of forget what these artistes were like when they were just out, and fresh, and their music touched our hearts, or moved our feet. That's why it's so nice to have a DVD like this. Many of these types of shows, like Rollin' Down The River, were Summer replacements. This was a Summer Replacement for the ...

The Praise Baby Collection: God Of Wonders22 reviews
Various Artists

Brentwood, 2004

Wonderful God of Wonders!
This is a wonderful DVD! The footage is mostly of children, and is quite beautiful. Also featured are animals and nature scenes, a variety of contrasting patterns which fade in and out, and the introduction of some letters and numbers. It is very refreshing to watch! This DVD is in direct contrast to the Baby Einstein DVDs, which are all about toys and puppets, ads and product placement. The ...

Heartworn Highways33 reviews
Various Artists

Snapper UK, 2005

DVD extras give me enough songs I like
There are people in the movie I had never seen before. The big thrill for me is getting to see Townes Van Zandt when he was so young, and a medley of his hit was all he had to be proud of. "Pancho and Lefty" sounded great with just his guitar, and his insight that the song was about two Mexican bandits he saw in a TV show two weeks after he wrote the song fits in to the kind of time sequences I ...

Classical Destinations12 reviews
Various Artists

Angel Records, 2007

Outstanding Photography as well as Naration
The pictures of those old, beautiful buildings are unbelieveable. We don't see that kind of workmanship today. Just imagine these buildings were done with very primitive tools and material and, yet they withstood all these years. Today every thing is done in a hurry and at a great cost for something that won't last. This DVD is an absolute must have. I can't praise it enough.
