Mom of twins that love Baby Einstein DVD's
I have 5 month old twin girls that love all the Baby Einstein DVD's. This one in paticular is so great because it has sign language that goes along with it. My girls love the puppets and watch it in the morning when they are first wakeing up. It rally makes them giggle.

Adam Sandler's best movie. Just wow.
That's it in a nutshell. Everyone knows that Don Cheadle is a good actor but Adam Sandler? That remark would have been a joke a few years ago when Sandler was churning one offensive, comedy after another but not now. He still does his lame comedies and I really wish he would do more drama as clearly he can do drama with movies like "Punch-Drunk Love". Anyways, it's about time we had more ...

Classic
This is a wonderful movie. Acting is superb and overcomes the obvious dated cinematography. Some things are classics and endure, this is one such thing .

Don't let the name mislead you
James L. Brooks intended to do a comedy here but instead ended up with a human drama about family relations and culture clash. And yes, some situations are funny. Watch it, most probably you will like it too.

Dennis Quaid and Jim Caviezel are so good in this movie. They play father and son able to communicate via an old ham radio even though his father passed away some thirty years ago. The explanation for this is due to unusual auroral activity and the effect it has on electronics. They discover they have the ability to change history by sharing information when John tells Frank how he died in the ...

dog whisper power of the pack
I have owned and worked with dogs most of my life, and always learn something new from Cesar Millan. The power of the pack was helpful, as took it to a friend who had several dogs and allways had issues with them. They didn't work together as a pack and this helped her to understand how it could be and should be. When you have a dog that does have issue's it good to know that they can be over ...

Video lacks and is overpriced, but the info it contains works and is priceless!
We received this video as a baby-shower gift a few months ago. We were very skeptical thinking this was another "new age" crock-pot, this time from Australia. We watched it laughing about it, but told ourselves that once the baby comes we'll see if we can differentiate the sounds - just to be cheeky about it. First night in the hospital, the "Neh" of a hungry baby was pretty clear and obvious. ...

A True Classic!
This movie has everything: deep emotions, action, suspense, a beautiful love story, hilarious comedy... Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore are a truly beautiful couple and, of course, Demi will have you crying your eyes out. While this is a strong heart and tear-jerker, Whoopi is amazing at relieving the stress with non-stop laughs. Highly recommended for any collection!

Brilliant entertainment
You don't need the philosophies of Plato or Schopenhauer or Descartes to watch this film. Watch it for what it is: an suspenseful action-packed sci-fi film. Although it does seem a bit long (just over 140 minutes), the film doesn't seem to drag at all. The subplots are interesting, and the special effects won't really disappoint. The actors and their characters are memorable (the chemstry between ...

Fun for Peek-a-boo enthusiasts
My now 20-month-old has loved this video for several months, since he became obsessed with peek-a-boo. It's not non-stop peek-a-boo but enough to satisfy his need. The music and acting is pleasant and realistic, not overly dramatic or annoying for grown ups. It shows scenes of babies and toddlers playing peek-a-boo, parents singing to their kids (e.g., wheels on the bus, you are my sunshine, ...

A good, old-fashioned story
This is one of those good-feel movies you remember watching as a teenager. Some parts are too "kiddie" for my liking (Fred Savage and the neighbours for instance) but I guess the movie makers wanted this to be a family movie...something for every one. The flying parts are just as good as the original Superman, amazing what they can do with a small budget. These movies beat the s.... out of the ...

Finding that "open door"
Samuel Taylor Coleridge once described it as a "willing suspension of disbelief." If you read a book or see a movie that stretches the boundaries of reality, or so you believe, but the art compels you to enter into its dimension and you do so, you have willingly suspended your disbelief. Are there ghosts? If so, can they visit their needs upon us? Can they grab our attention and demand ...

Bravo! Well worth the $.
The entire Signing Time! and Baby Signing Time! series are wonderful. My daughter has a remarkable vocabulary for a 21 month old and I have to credit her favorite program with helping to improve our verbal communications. The series has helped her to speak wonderfully and not only say words but to understand them as well. We don't allow a great deal of TV programming but the Signing Time! ...
