magic
This is a brilliant dvd. Les Miserables is magical music. The only problem I had was that I had to fix the region on my dvd player but that wasn't a big drama. Well worth the price.

"A Hard Day's Night" Miramax Collector's Edtion, two DVD set
When a "Hard Day's Night" came out I was 14 years old. The memories of the songs and the cutting edge black and white cinematography that I experienced as a kid were confirmed, refreshed and renewed as I viewed the movie again! If that wasn't enough this collector's edition comes with a second DVD that includes interviews with the director, Richard Lester, George Martin and others that shed a ...

Glad I found this
I saw this on PBS in 1997 while caring for a new born in the middle of the night. I loved it, it was haunting. It took almost a year before I found the name of the DVD and the TSO. I have since bought, kept and shared this DVD with others. The music of TSO and the DVD are heartwarming and will be withme always.

Live in Bucharest 1992
Here it is end of 2009, this concert was performed in 1992. Timeless performance.Michael Jackson most definatly deserves the crown "King of Pop"! Wish I could have experienced it live. Felt like I was there, with the screaming crowd, loved seeing all the fans and the ones who passed out and had to be carted away. Probably like being at a Beatles concert. I would most definatly recommend this DVD ...

A Treasure!
Magnificent! Wonderful! A truly moving experience! Bocelli's voice and Foster's arrangements are marvelous. Such a marriage of these two was made in Heaven. I can see why some have negatively criticized the CD. The sets, the colors, the whole ambiance--this is a performance that has to be seen to be fully appreciated. The Lord's Prayer with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir is otherworldly and ...

Michael jackson - History on Film Vol. 2
This DVD contains the big MJ statue, marching scenes, and fans screaming. That I can do without but I love the classical music in those parts. It has Motown 25's Billie Jean, Beat It, Liberian Girl, Smooth Criminal, 1995 MTV Awards Billie Jean and Dangerous, Thriller, Scream, Childhood, You Are Not Alone, Earth Song,They Don't Care about Us (Brazil), Stranger in Moscow, Blood on the Dance Floor ...

beautiful
This video features beautiful singers who have absolutely spellbinding sweet and smooth voices. They sing songs both familiar and unfamiliar to the American audience. The fiddler is shockingly good, mostly because besides sawing out ultra-fast jigs, she almost never looks at her fiddle and she's usually doing an energetic dance routine too. Overall, a gorgeous show, leaving you feel refreshed and ...

Excellent
There is nothing that I can add to the various positive reviews that have been done. This is an excellent selection. The music selections were great, and the documentary footage was informative. I wish there were more. I don't know why this item has been discontinued. I would have purchased it on Amazon had it been available, but I saw it at Blockbuster video for $45 and purchased it ...

Eddie
I love Eddie. This is one of his tamer shows but he's just a funny guy! I went through 4 DVDs before finding one that would play, however. I got a "Disc is dirty" error message on every disc. I was able to clean one sufficiently to actually watch it. A great addition to my Eddie library.

Damn! This is great stuff.
To get this out of the way, I don't rate musical concerts 5 stars willy nilly. I own more than 60 concerts on DVD because my favorite thing to do on my days off when the wife's at work and my son is at daycare for his 3 hours is to take the volume of my AVM20 to around -14 db and listen to good music. SACD and DVD-audio have a place in my collection, but there's nothing like watching a good ...

this is short as others have reviewed the film well. i am somewhat prejudiced as the band is my favorite band of all time and i never tire of hearing them play. the last waltz was a magical night and i'm glad scorcese took on the project. that being said, why in the world could this new blu ray transfer not include the unedited "it makes no difference"? having listened to it from my various ...

Lifelong George Fan
I've been a George Michael fan since day 1. I own and actively listen to all of his (sparse) catalog. With that said, I also own a lot of concerts on DVD and Blu-ray. Only a few get me really pumped up, like being right there at the concert. This is one of them. While many of the artists who have been around for 25+ years need some help on tour, George still sounds the same. His muscial ...

A Moving Experience with a Timeless Quality
How glad I was to learn that Sting decided to do this concert in Durham Cathedral. As a fellow Northumbrian, it is a place for which I have fond memories. Enjoying how Sting has evolved over the years, buying this DVD was a most for me. Sting brings an amazing group of musicians together from many parts of the world. To see Kathyrn Tickell playing the Northumbrian Pipes, was highly enjoyable. ...

Leonard Cohen Live In London
Leonard Cohen's Live In London is an incredible Album in every way. With a quiet salute of his hand and a warm smile he greets his audience with humor, recognition of their grasp of what he is about to perform and a humbleness that becomes a person who has lived hard and well in his 80 plus years. Then the marvelous orchestra begins with individual muscians thrilling all of the audiance ...
