Dingo [VHS]7 reviews
Colin Friels, Miles Davis

Spectrum Entertain, 1999

Strage but engaging
I first saw this movie on the movie channel Stars in about 1996. It's the kind of movie that makes you feel like you're wandering in a hot, unforgiving desert, chasing after a mirage that never quite comes into focus. It's dreamy quality is what keeps me coming back. I would recommend this film to anyone who daydreams or just needs a little magic in their lives. I loved it.

Frisky Dingo - Season 222 reviews
Christian Danley, Mr. Ford

Warner Home Video, 2009

I want MORE!
I'm so sad they stopped at season 2. But I recently heard they are making a new season on Adult Swim so fingers crossed on that. This season starts out with a more patterned episodes but its the same basic concept (if thats what you wanna call it). It's a little less random. I don't know what more to say seeing as this is season 2. If you already saw season 1 and didn't like it, you wouldn't be ...

Judy Davis, Jamey Sheridan

Hallmark, 1999

Very good movie!
I loved it. I can't get my attention off the screen, because it was so good. I saw it last Sunday. I'm planning to buy a tape later. The actors and actresses are very good and wonderful. It also made me cry and smile.

Frisky Dingo: S1-2 (2pk/DVD)4 reviews

Warner Home Video, 2009

EVERY Episode Makes Me Laugh!
I have seen many animated comedy serials, but Frisky Dingo is the first and only one that actually makes me laugh out loud during and especially at the end of every episode. The writing and acting is truely brilliant! Yes, some of the jokes are low humor (that's to be expected), but on the whole, it is creative, has subtile running jokes, and cerebral ways of making me laugh, not just ...

Frisky Dingo - Season 144 reviews
Stuart Culpepper, Christian Danley

Warner Home Video, 2008

Ba-ba-boosh!
Couple minor factoids for all you FD enthusiasts out there: When Killface gets run over by his friend Barnaby and then in his delirium sings out Barnaby's name, he does it to the theme of "The Courtship of Eddy's Father," a television series maybe starring Bill Bixby or somebody in the early 70s. When Ta'Quil grabs the core of the Annihilatrix and makes his heroic dive, the sound effect ...

Powerful depiction of the collision of cultures
A few years ago, when visiting the Australian outback, I met an elderly Aboriginal man who asked me, through an intereter, "Did your parents or grandparents tell you where you come from?" By this, he went on to explain that he meant was I descended from the kangaroo, lizard, emu etc? This is not a question that a European American would easily be able to answer. When I saw this excellent ...

Hidden Worlds Series II: Australia's Dingo Island and The River Jordan [VHS]1 review

Pbs (Direct), 2000

Biome Study
I found the Jordan River portion of the video an excellent source material for helping middle school students analyze a desert biome, the interactions between abiotic and biotic factors, interaction of different producers and consumers within various food chains and food webs, habitats, etc. I also contrast the desert biome of the southern Jordan to the wetlands Hula Basin to compare and contrast ...
