Great Price
If you enjoy NCIS and like to watch the previous seasons, these are sold for a good price. Less expensive than I could find where I live.

Wow
I have never in my entire life managed to watch a single episode of CSI or other series like that. I tried, but always lost interest way before the end of the episode. I very much prefer comedies or SF. NCIS, on the other hand, I watched every week and I bought all the DVDs and watched them several times. Lots of action, very funny, great characters. Try it.

Eagles Fly from Mountains High: A Powerful Journey
This film is a classic and viscerally honest portrayal of human conflict and personal growth. It clearly depicts working class young adults who sought to break away from past barriers and limitations and build better lives for themselves. It is a coming of age story, where a full spectrum of feelings are explored as young adults learn about fulfilling their potential, building value systems and ...

One of the greatest tv shows of all time
With all of the mindless reality shows that exist on tv today, it is so great to have a truly great show like NCIS still on the air. The cast is incredible, with memorable character portrayals by everyone on this show. Best of all, it has great rewatchability, especially season 1. It is difficult not to absolutely adore every character on this show!!!

A Classic B&W gem from the 50's
I'd always enjoyed this movie on TV and was glad to be able to add it to my DVD collection. Not having seen it in a while there were scenes I did not remember, particularly at the beginning. I suspect TV stations tended to snip the early scenes to add commercial time since the film-maker took the time to insert something a lot of modern movies don't bother with: Plot Development. The original ...

Great Season - What you'd expect from NCIS!
From the very first season NCIS has captured my attention! I have loved this television series and have continued to not be disappointed. I have purchased seasons 1 thru 5 and have not regretted it. If you have not yet watched it, you should! This is a tv series that has action, drama, with a sense of humor. It is a series that gets you hooked and the characters become like family to you. ...

An Excellent Season of NCIS!
Season three of NCIS is great! So much suspense, adventure, excitement, Tony, Gibbs, McGee, and Abby! Great new characters, though I think that Lauren Holly should have never cut her hair.

Excellent
I was waiting for this to come out on DVD. I first recorded this when it was presented on PBS more than 10 years ago. I watched the tape so many times that it wore out. An excellent documentary of the history of US Naval Aviation. It spans the beginnings from WWI era biplanes landing on the first carriers through the modern day. But most of the time is devoted to when the Americans and ...

YOU'RE IN THE NAVY NOW
Gary Cooper is not generally known for his comedic roles, however his straight face as the captain of an experimental sub chaser during WWII adds to the fun this film generates. Ably supported by Eddie Albert, Jack Webb, Harvey Lembeck, Millard Mitchell et al, this is one of my all time favorites. Picked to prove the workability of a new type of steam engine as their propulsion unit, the crew ...

Most of you missed the point
It must be discouraging to Mamet to have so many completely miss the point of this movie. This movie is not about "right" or "justice" or "honor" or "perseverance" or any of the stuff mentioned by many other reviewers (at least the several that I read). It is about epigamic differentiation, a biological phenomenon known to most of you as "love at first sight". It is a romance, completely and ...

Dive Bomber
A bit hokey in spots but, as a whole, not a bad film. Errol Flynn has to prove himself to a group of pilots as he assists Ralph Bellamy in experiments to help pilots overcome high altitude sickness. He earns his wings and becomes totally absorbed in the trials. One by one, members of the group who opposed him at first are lost. But Errol will help save the day! Great aerial and ground scenes, I ...

The Ghost Ships of Truk Lagoon - Operation Hailstone
Since it's so hard to find anything (video) on this subject, it starts earning points junt for being made. On top of that, it turns to be very interesting, complete and fun to watch. I recommend it.

The Best!
In one of my classes at college, our professor made us watch a Sherlock Holmes episode the first day. As a rule, I prefer to read stories as opposed to watching them on TV because usually the TV versions are not as good as the books from which they are derived. However, after watching Jeremy Brett's portrayal of the legendary slueth, I was well satisfied with the excellent job of both the ...
No Easy Days - The Incredible Drama of Naval Aviation
None
USFS Video, Inc, 2008
Nothing is easy about flying from an Aircraft Carrier. Just why that statement is true is amply illustrated in this remarkable DVD. Based on our popular book by the same name, No Easy Days captures some of the most dramatic accidents in naval aviation. Catch your breath and see first hand all of the bewildering ways a flight can go wrong. Cold cats, engine failures, wave-offs, ramp strikes...they're all here. Plus the unedited, full story of the ...
